Are you a member of the Sandwich Generation? You know, when you are living a tug-of-war life between taking care of your children (or even grandchildren), and caring for your aging parents.
Even if you have just the latter role, it is a tough challenge to care for an aging relative while keeping your own personal and business life intact.
Currently in the U.S., there are over 10 million people receiving care from family members or friends.
My guest can speak to all sides of caregiving. Lori Martin, president of Envision Benefits (www.Envision-Benefits.com), has been a healthcare benefits consultant for over 20 years. She is also a specialist in both Medicare and healthcare reform. According to Lori “the role of caregiver can become a working child’s second full-time job”.

When the currency of heart-felt appreciation (money) easily flows from one person to another and back again it creates a Win-Win-Win situation where all parties involved benefit.
According to Rajesh Setty of the Huffingtom Post, the concept of Win-Win-Win from a business perspective is a P.O.S.E. model. He describes this as Profitable On-Purpose Side Effects. Google is a perfect example of this strategy.
My guests, Jeff and Lisa Levin (www.Co-OptervisingNetwork.com), are creating this same model in a membership organization. Their website states: “Be a part of re-defining success in business by helping others first”! Bottom line is that when you give from your heart, prosperity will come to you naturally.
To learn more about their movement call Jeff or Lisa at 866-217-8425 You can also join their open FaceBook group – The Chicagoland Co-opvertising Network.

Sometimes the word passion can be over used. When a word becomes too commonplace, it loses its impact. Merriam-Webster defines passion as – “a strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something” or “the state or capacity of being acted on by external agents or forces”.
My guest, Leslie Hamp, is inspired by the power of passion and purpose. She views passion as a force within that is closely tied to love. Listen in as Leslie shares how to “Do What you Love, the Money Will Follow”.
Leslie is a Creative Catalyst, Certified Marketing Coach and a Licensed Passion Project Facilitator. She is also the author of Create the Life you Crave and its companion Beautiful Journal. You can reach her at 715-209-4866 or [email protected]

It seems to be harder and harder to buy a house these days. Even with low interest rates, lending companies are making it more challenging to qualify for a mortgage. If you have any dings on your credit score or have had some major financial challenges in the past, it becomes even more difficult.
My guest, Ken Schreiber is a pre-divorce lending specialist. He has successfully helped clients, with many different financial scenarios, purchase homes.
One little used approach is to buy a house on contract. Ken does a beautiful job of explaining the benefits and pitfalls of this option. When done correctly, buying a house on contract can be a win-win situation for both the buyer and seller. Ken can be reached at 630-446-0172 or [email protected]

Have you ever given-in to someone’s request but you really didn’t want to? Do you feel that you don’t get the respect you deserve? Are you easily talked into buying something that you really don’t need or want? Do you always say yes to your children’s requests?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, listen to our lively conversation about the benefit of having boundaries and the importance of saying no.
John Kammes, Jaclyn Dominguez and I discuss the many ways we unconsciously give away our time, money and self-respect. We sometimes even apologize for it!
Saying no can be a very positive thing in our lives. The word “No” can be delivered in a kind and respectful manner and there is no need to apologize for stating what you want and/or expect.
John Kammes [630-745-8716) is a reflexologist and Level 4 Healing Touch Apprentice. Jaclyn Dominguez has a BA in Personal Finance and is an MBA candidate in Business Analytics.

How often do you listen to your intuition? Can you trust it or do you constantly second guess yourself? We all possess the power of intuition yet it is a gift that must be honed and trusted.
One of the most challenging aspects of intuition is that the “intuitive hits” we get have no underlying proof or evidence of truth. We may instantly doubt the message, believing that we made it up in our head.
My guest, Shari Elman, makes a living using her intuition and other psychic abilities. Shari is an Intuitive Life Coach. I describe a session with her as a psychic reading wrapped in coaching.
In our conversation we discuss the many ways we can use our intuition. But we first have to recognize it when it appears. Shari can be reached at www.SharynElman.com or [email protected]
