RØRY is a successful singer-songwriter and artist who has re-built her music career over the past 2 years into a place that she feels more aligns with her ‘authentic self’. Amassing over half a billion streams to date, RØRY has worked with some massive names including Mowe, William Black and Amidy, she is also managed by Tileyard Music.
Fast becoming one of the UK’s sought after new writers after penning the platinum-selling quarter of a billion streaming “Post Malone” for DJ Sam Feldt, RØRY is now set to release original music in 2020.
She has upcoming collaborations with US Billboard charting SLANDER, as well as hit maker Mike Perry and her debut single, co-written with Jonathan Quarmby (Lewis Capaldi /James Arthur), is coming in partnership with Warner UK – bringing together her unique vocal, quirky lyricism and honest take on sobriety and mental health.

In this episode of MMM, Lucy and Suzanna discuss disagreement, and how it doesn’t always have to lead to disconnection.
There is an inherent pattern that stems from our socialisation and experiences that can lead us down a hasty path of disconnection when we do not agree with another’s opinion. This can be elevated for creatives working together on shared projects, and can lead us into a ‘fight or flight response’.
Suzanna discusses strategies for ‘making space’ for other people within the context of a disagreement, which leads to acceptance and growth within us. This is a great episode to understand how to accept others, without defining them by our own moral judgement, that is often unconscious.
Disconnection is a powerful topic right now, as we continue to try and create normal space for ourselves during the covid-19 pandemic, the elevation of feelings and the inability to have the freedom to see loved ones means we are more vulnerable than usual.
