June 11, 2023 Footprints and Photographs - Lion's Den Gorge (June, 2023)
Hey gang! Welcome back for another round of, Footprints and Photographs. June has been interesting to say the least, our month has started on a rough road. That is okay, life does that sometimes. With a change to our circumstances, our reality is beginning to shift in an unpredictable direction. Kristin and I's teamwork has been absolutely essential and will continue to be throughout this process. I'm lucky to have the best teammate in the world.
This past weekend, we decided to take a break from our troubles and get out of the house. The Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve was our destination of choice. This was our second time at this location, we were eager to return since last year's visit. I'm glad we chose to go there because our expectations were exceeded! It felt amazing to get back on the trails and explore around; we even created our own path while "off-roading". On top of the hiking, we were ecstatic to stand on a Lake Michigan beach once more! The views never fail to impress or leave us in a state of awe. The day was a victory for us, a much needed one. We cannot wait to go back later on in summer when the flowers bloom a little more. I'd highly recommend this location to avid hikers!

June 01, 2023 Footprints and Photographs - G.B.B.G (June, 2023)

Welcome back for more, Footprints and Photographs. We wanted to start June off the right away and take a little day trip. We chose to return to the Green Bay Botanical Gardens, a hotspot of ours since last year. Why not? Nature hasn’t sprung an abundance of flowers yet in most of the places we hike. We had to creat our own opportunity in order to experience a greater variety of color and see the flowers we love most. It was a bit early in the year to be at the botanical gardens, but that didn’t really matter. We were just happy to be there and smell the fresh scent of summer air. I’m glad we had the opportunity to get out of the house and spend some quality time with each other. We will definitely return later on this summer, all we need is more types of flowers to blossom before that happens. What a great start to our June!

May 25, 2023 Footprints and Photographs - May’s Mayhem (May, 2023)
Hey gang! Welcome back for more, Footprints and Photographs. May has been an extremely busy month for us, there haven’t been many opportunities to grab the cameras. Between chaotic schedules, fully booked weekends, and forced overtime, we’ve had to make the most out of the little free time we’ve had. With that said, we had an amazing time whenever we were able to shoot! The Horicon Marsh has become a hotspot again due to migration. Flowers, foliage, and animal life has made a big comeback. Because of that, our photo opportunities have been ample. We’ve been soaking in the hot temperatures and springtime breeze as much as we can! It feels great to be outside again and in the field as much as we can, we are eager to see what June brings our way.

Hey gang. Today is a very short episode, but I am excited to share a piece of my podcasting past with you all. Last night at work, I stumbled upon my very first audio recording - my introduction to the Mind of the Messiah platform. The date on the recording was April 13th, 2020. Three years later, I smile as I look back to where it truly began. The show officially kicked off on March 18th, 2022. However, this audio recording was the first footprint on a very long and fulfilling journey. The audio is played at the end; what a moment of nostalgia. Thank you for tuning in!

Welcome back for another segment of, Footprints and Photographs. Today’s episode covers our monthly compilation of drone photographs and flight videos. It has been an exciting month of drone experiences! We’ve expanded our platforms and now have our own YouTube channel - RVP From Above. That channel will be used to upload full length flights. May 18, 2023 Revisiting Ghosts - Returning to Whitewater
In 2018, I graduated from UW-Whitewater with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology, and a minor in Anthropology. College was by far some of the best years of my life, it was also a time that contained some of my darkest moments. Nevertheless, my time spent in Whitewater left a heavy imprint on who I am today. I had not returned to that city since I had graduated; life quickly went a different direction. With that said, 5 years later, I was ready to return and revisit the good and the bad. My wife was by my side this time. I was ecstatic to be able to include her into that chapter of my life, there was so much to share. I learned a lot about my past and present during the few hours I was there. Overall, I couldn’t have been happier that I went back. The day was filled with heavy emotions and a lot of nostalgic memories. That chapter of my life had directly led me to the road I am on now, what isn’t there to revisit?

May 17, 2023 Mind of the Messiah - My 100th Episode!!!
Holy shit, today marks my 100th episode! Boy, I couldn’t be happier with this road so far. Podcasting has been a major contributing factor to who I am today; there were a lot of unforeseen consequences once the ball started rolling. Out of all of the hobbies I pursue, most of my time has been dedicated to podcasting. Creatively, podcasting has opened up more doors for me than ever! As the show evolved, I was grateful to be able to record my other hobbies such as writing, photography, and traveling. All of those endeavors now work in tandem and fuel each other. The art of communication has been a long time fascination of mine, I will continue to pursue this passion for as long as life lets me. To my audience, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. The love and support has meant the world to me! I was happy recording shows back when no one was listening, so every addition to the Mind of the Messiah listening community is that much more special. Thank you for sharing this experience with with me. Keep tuning in, there is a lot of content on the horizon. Soon enough I’ll be recording episode #200! Thanks again and hey… you have a great day.
