Welcome to another episode of Mind the HeadSpace! Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of Dallas area electronic music DJs and producers. This month is the return of podcast favorite and Dallas based Techno wizard, Axiom! She had this to say about her mix: "This is my hate letter to the pandemic. As a meme going around this week said, "the hardest part of the 15-day plan to flatten the curve is the first 18 months." We all thought we would be out of this by now, but we were all wrong. The disruption this has caused me as an artist is something I never could have imagined. Most of my sacred spaces and all the nights I spent the little time I had in between my rigorous work schedule planning so I could share music with others were ripped away in an instant and nothing even remotely close to any one piece of that has come in to take its place. The range of emotions I've felt toward music include sadness, pain, anger, elation (when something cool finally actually happens), and most of all – and most surprisingly – apathy. I made this mix to express all those feelings in one place, and to remind myself and you of the beauty of chaos and the tiny moments of connectedness we still have. All the track names are representative of different facets of pandemic life as well. You don't know what you've got till it's gone, or how impossible it seems to ever get it back, but we are still in this together. PS. I learned how to play pretty dang fast. Enjoy!!" TRACKLIST: 1. Welcome to another episode of Mind the HeadSpace! Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of Dallas area electronic music DJs and producers. This month is a first time contribution from a stalwart of the Dallas house and techno scene, Black Frames! Hope you're ready for a journey because this one clocks in just shy of 2.5 hours. From the man himself: "This is absolutely meant to be a journey of a mix to listen through. It explores dark to deep to emotional and uplifting to heavy hitters as well as a few throwbacks. All of this is to set the right energy, keep your ears engaged and I've added a few surprises to help guide the mindset from start to finish. I hope you enjoy!"

Welcome to another episode of Mind the HeadSpace! Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of Dallas area electronic music DJs and producers. This months episode is a live recording of the set I played at the 6/26 Flowmoon with Maddy O'neal show opening up the inside stage. This is a pretty chill and spacey left-field bass vibe. Welcome to another episode of Mind the HeadSpace! Bringing you the best in the more eclectic and cerebral side of Dallas area electronic music DJs and producers. This month's episode is very unique because an experimental duo from the UK reached out to me about doing an episode for the podcast and I did not want to pass up this awesome opportunity. Digital By Birth is a duo consisting of Alan Gringo on vox/programming and Trent Water on guitar. They make a combination of electronic and hip-hop tinged low fi post-punk, and this mix definitely reflects their signature sound.
