Jannese has had a lot of success with her food blog, Delish D’Lites and she has such a passion for talking about money in a real and raw way - no beating around the bush, just like ME!

Gianni goes by "Gigi" for short and is one of the most down-to-earth guests I've had on the show! Talk about keeping it real - Gigi tell it like it is!!! She's a 90’s baby who is already a homeowner and has had experiences in Finance, Corporate Law, Teaching and is now transitioning into the Tech world!!! She drops gems about all of the lessons she's learned in each of these spaces but also about her most recent and most worthwhile big purchase... a real estate property in Philly. Homegirl has got it going on - and I'm just so glad I had the chance to connect with her and learn about her story. What an inspirational human!

In honor of Black History Month 2021, I'm taking it back to an episode that originally aired on June 1, 2020 in order to highlight events that most people do not know about because just like financial literacy it is rarely taught in schools - Black history. This episode is a solo one, where I retell the story of Freedman's Savings Bank as I learned it myself after researching and digging through online articles and journals for hours. Tiffany Thomas calls herself a "wealth mentor" for a reason! She focused her late 20's and 30's to building up her wealth through real estate and the stock market, and later opened her own business! While she has reached financial freedom early in her life, she says that it isn't just about the money, it's about having options... I couldn't agree more! Being financially free definitely gives you more choices. You get to choose how you want to spend your time and who you get to spend it with.

After quitting her corporate job at age 36, Tiffany now manages several real estate properties and teaches people how to build wealth through the stock market, too.

Soledad (Rita Soledad) is known for her instagram account and larger platform where she is hosting monthly workshops, called Wealth Para Todos. She's a former classroom teacher, just like me and is a certified party animal, too! After being sick and on bedrest she had to stop teaching and is now on a mission to retire by age 47 with her husband by investing money in multiple appreciating assets like investment accounts, real estate and businesses.
