  • The Story of Freedman's Savings Bank (Rebroadcast for Black History Month 2021)
In honor of Black History Month 2021, I'm taking it back to an episode that originally aired on June 1, 2020 in order to highlight events that most people do not know about because just like financial literacy it is rarely taught in schools - Black history. This episode is a solo one, where I retell the story of Freedman's Savings Bank as I learned it myself after researching and digging through online articles and journals for hours. Whether you know the story already or not, tune in to hear me tell it my way because I am PASSIONATE!
As you can tell by scrolling through and listening to my podcast episodes over the past few months, I regularly honor and highlight Black stories, but in February I will make space to solely share Black women's stories, so come back next week for some more inspiring content!

  • Her Goal Was $1 Million By Age 40 & She Did That! (feat. Tiffany from @WealthyTiffany)
Tiffany Thomas calls herself a "wealth mentor" for a reason! She focused her late 20's and 30's to building up her wealth through real estate and the stock market, and later opened her own business! While she has reached financial freedom early in her life, she says that it isn't just about the money, it's about having options... I couldn't agree more! Being financially free definitely gives you more choices. You get to choose how you want to spend your time and who you get to spend it with.
After quitting her corporate job at age 36, Tiffany now manages several real estate properties and teaches people how to build wealth through the stock market, too.
