Woke!  The new flavor for the people that just want to feel better than everyone else.

We talk about Wokeness in our current modern society. Does it really mean something or is it just some pretentious BS. Being Woke derived from being Awakened, being Aware, being Enlightened. That was quickly hijacked by people that wanted to be in the limelight, by social justice warriors and big corporations. It quickly became marketable, because in todays view of popular society, being Woke made you better than other people and other companies. Woke no longer meant that you had reached individual enlightenment and understanding of your part in the whole of the universe and existence. Now it simply means that you use re-usable bags at the grocery stores or use paper straws so you can save the turtles, ignoring the inconvenient truth that you are still using a plastic cup that will be in the environment long after all of us have expired.  Being Woke became that warm feel good pretentious blanket that makes you feel like you are better than most.  In today’s Woke, you are a caveman if you do not agree to the current popular views of the he/she/them/they. True Enlightenment is focused on the self-reflection of the self, to be open to the concept that your views may be wrong and that you can still learn and correct your path and that each of us has a journey.  By today’s standards, Jesus, Gandhi, MLK and Malcolm X would not be considered Woke. Marketing has placed a deceptive blinding vail over society’s eyes, by simply using being Woke as a vehicle to sell you a product.  The biggest trick big corporations have accomplished is making you feel good while still consuming their products, as you turn your blind 3rd eye to the whole scheme. 

Episode 16: Wealth, Poverty & Politics: Part 1

We have so much we to talk about these topics, that we decided to break it down into a 3 part series. In the first part; we cover how in our current society the majority of the population does not know how to build or create wealth during their adult working years. We have found that our public educational system is at fault by not having any curriculum that deals with finance. This is not to state that we have created the wealth we want, but we have started the process of doing so by educating ourselves. And that is the purpose of this episode, to point out that all the tools are available to you, to build the wealth and life you want.  But here’s the catch! You gotta go get it for yourself.  Because you will realize that our public school system is designed to spit out worker bees, so they can keep the machines and systems going.  It is not designed to create free thinking individuals. Here at Mindhacked, we believe in individual freedom, but that cannot be achieved without first having financial freedom. This is a wake-up call! Stay tuned, for the other parts of the series.

Randonatica, an application for your phone that reaches into the supernatural. What happens when technology advances so much that it crosses into the world of mysticism? This application takes the users intentions and the guides the users to a location where strange events may manifest. Is it the app itself that’s doing this, or some modern black magick to blame? We also share our own supernatural experience in this episode. We dig up an audio clip that we recorded in Juan’s garage when we were first getting started with the podcast. This “Thump” sound was captured in our audio recording, but has no sound signature. We dont have a clue as to what it is or where it came fom and we want to share with our listeners. Reality is often stranger than fiction. What is time, if not a man made concept.  And we feel like in this modern age of information, we too are informed, but how many would be able to tell time without their phones or watches? Still, even with today’s technology we can’t figure out how they build the ancient pyramids. Something that we cant do now with modern machinery. Join us in our conversation!

Long Live Death!  Man created the computer and now A.I. And thru our creation we may have found a way to live forever and cheat death. Evolving technology may soon allow us to upload ourselves on to the internet, and in theory, a part of us will live forever. We discuss if it is even possible to cheat death, and what happens to your soul? This is troublesome as we don't experience the raw version of the internet, instead we get a censored version, sanctioned by the big corporations. Elon tweeted on his twitter - trying to expose the fake bot accounts that are designed to influence human behavior online. This eccentric Billionaire is trying to take over twitter under the banner of free speech to battle all censorship. In our pop culture segment we give an update on the Slap heard around the World and also the defamation lawsuit of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.  We are living in the peak of Roman times, and the internet is our colosseum. We must protect it at all costs!  Before it falls.

The Slap heard around the World! An unexpected controversial event that took place at the 94th Academy Awards that had everyone shocked! After a very PG joke at the expense of Jada Pinkett Smith from presentor Chris Rock, Will Smith is seen first smiling, then walking up towards Chris. Not Chris nor anyone else would have expected what followed next. Will Smith slapped Chris Rock across the face with his big meaty dad hands! A visibly stunned Chris is left standing, as Will heads back to his seat with a smirk on his face.  The event left everyone questioning wether this was part of the show or if this act of violence really took place before our eyes. And then, A tsunami wave of public opinion emerged quickly after. Wether you were on Will's side or Chris', everyone had something to say. Join us in our conversation as we pull back the many layers of this entanglement that lead to this event.

2022 started strong in the wrong direction, by having the world flirt with WW3 and the possibility of Nuclear War.  Russia has invaded the sovereign nation of Ukraine in an act of war, that they claim is actually to liberate the oppresed Russians in Eastern Ukraine.  The world watches as the people of Ukraine rise up to defend their country against the spread of Fascism in Europe, not seen since WW2.  With the Russian people and economy suffering, we speculate the reasons Putin is really doing this, in his attempt to cement his Legacy in the bloody pages of history.  The entire world watches anxiously on the edge of their seats, as the battle of good vs evil plays out on the world stage.

The Earth is vast and full of wonder. One of those wonders is Antarctica.  We know very little about this giant continent.  In 1946 the United States Navy launched Operation HIGHJUMP - led my Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd.  During a flight expedition, Byrd speaks about allegedly entering a massive opening towards the inner Earth, were he saw unfamiliar flying objects and very tall buildings (skyscrappers).  Also he reported of a massive land mass enriched with many natural resources.  During WW2 the Nazi's build a military base in Antarctica and there's also reports of UFO's entering and exiting the surrounding waters.  There's always has been a cloud of mystery about Antarctica, join our conversation on the other intriguing aspects of Antarctica, possibly the biggest continent on Earth.
