Dean Schwarz is 24 and from New Jersey. He attended college at Towson University where Joey (on of our hosts) and him became friends. Dean is a normal guy but for most of his life he has been living with Type 1 diabetes. Dean tells his story on what his life was like growing up with diabetes. He tells some funny and also some scary stories. He also breaks down the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. This episode is a must listen. Deans story is inspiring and also teaches us a lot of lessons that we can use in our daily lives.

Merrick G. Stein is 27 years old and is from Annandale NJ. Joey met Merrick at a Rutgers Toastmasters meeting. They quickly became friends and Merrick shared his story. Merrick suffered from alcoholism. He attended University of Miami. One of biggest party schools. In 2014 he decided to give up on alcohol and become sober. Till this day he still hasn’t drank. In this episode he goes into detail about his journey. 

Kelsey Richardson is 25 years old and from Madison, North Carolina. Kelsey went to college at Towson University in Maryland. Kelsey was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was 5 months old. In this episode Kelsey takes us into her personal life and what living with CF has been like for her. You will not only learn her story but you will learn a lot about the reality of CF. This episode has a different theme than the rest. As most of you know we got the tragic news on Sunday that Kobe Bryant passed away. We also lost his daughter Gigi and 7 other passengers. The news of his passing shook the whole world. We wanted to take the time to discuss his life and his impact. He was a legend that had an impact on a lot of our lives.
