“The Baton of Faith”
Romans 1:15-16
1. Do not be ashamed of the gospel
* Romans 1:16A “For I am not ashamed of the gospel.” (NIV)
* 1 Corinthians 1:23 “...a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles.” (NIV)
* How can you walk with pride as a Christian?
→Fix your eyes on the heart of the gospel: the cross
* Romans 3:23-24 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (NIV)
