This week we go back in time and revisit Corrine’s experience going through a divorce in her early 20s. We talk about how her life intersected with Neil’s, what it was like for both of them during that time, and what helped Corrine survive. She shares tips on what her friends did to support her, some of the lessons she learned in retrospect, and what she would tell herself if she could give her younger self advice before going through all of this.

Betsi Flint, a 6-time AVP Champion, played at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) for both indoor and beach volleyball. She is a 2-time AVCA All-American in beach and still holds indoor records in career aces and digs. In Betsi’s rookie AVP Season in 2015, she and Kelly Kolinske were the youngest team at the time to take home an AVP Championship. Betsi was voted the AVP Newcomer of the Year. Betsi also plays on the FIVB and has earned Gold in China and Silver Medals in Canada and Australia.Betsi’s favorite career memory was winning AVP Hermosa in 2018 with Emily Day; she grew up watching this event, and in her first time playing at AVP Hermosa, she won in front of her friends and family. Her most defining moment, however, was winning AVP Cincinnati in her first year out of college. It was then that she realized she could pursue becoming a professional beach volleyball player full-time. When Betsi isn’t playing volleyball, she is spending time with her husband Chase and their daughter Cora or meal prepping. One interesting fact about Betsi is that she was born and raised in a small town in South Dakota, where she fell in love with sports. She later moved to Phoenix, AZ, with her family.

This episode came at such a divinely inspired time, two days after my second panic attack. And I couldn’t imagine anyone better to talk about it with than my friend Natty.
Natty is a highly-sought after speaker and coach. She has spoken on stages in over 38 different countries around the world and worked with over 200 different companies, CEOs and executive teams. For the last 4 years she has dedicated her time to educating high-achievers on the power of their emotions. That they do not need to be afraid of them, but they can understand them, control them, and use them to build true and lasting success.
Natty has 25 years of marketing and sales background. She’s studied human behavior for years — why people start, but don’t finish… what makes a high achieving person successful.
She’s built companies, worked with all kinds of professionals including athletes, business owners and influencers. With each person she has worked with she discovered the power of raising your EQ. Everything else raises with it — increased revenue, productivity, purpose, better relationships, more intention.
In short, a better life.
She has been married to her best friend for over 26 years and they have 4 kids ranging from 22 to 11. As a wife, mother, speaker, coach, entrepreneur and teacher she knows what it takes to balance life and business, with vision, purpose, identity and passion and it CAN be done. We’re all about to head into summer and as I was thinking about what might help you the most, my mind went straight back to an experience I had with a mom in my community. She has 7 kids, and when I asked her how the heck she was keeping them all busy and entertained AND teaching them to work and be responsible (all her kids are hard workers!) she gave me the most amazing tip that I’m going to share with you.
PLUS I’m sharing the exact template she shared with me that I made my own, and you can make it your own too. Go to mintarrow.com/summerjobs and download it for your summer of kids learning to work and stay busy and thrive!
Also shout out to Cariloha who I mentioned at the beginning of this episode - you can go to Cariloha.com and use code mintarrow for 30% off anything — I highly recommend the resort line of sheets and mattresses!!
