Wednesday 17 May is IDAHOBIT – the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia. It is an important day to remember why we fight for safe, affirming and culturally appropriate care for all LGBTIQ+ communities.
IDAHOBIT is the anniversary of when the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases. It’s a day that has grown over the years to highlight the continued discrimination faced by the LGBTIQA+ communities.
CEO of Minus18 Micah Scott joins Rach & Dean on JOY Breakfast, as we dive into the many different ways IDAHOBIT celebrates and elevates our communities.
