Miranda is a backpacker, rock climber, and occasional van dweller who left NYC to pursue life outdoors. In 2020, after ten years of working in the outdoor industry, she launched Miranda In The Wild on REI's YouTube channel. Miranda shares her knowledge and humor through content that is accessible, relatable, and designed to break down barriers to getting outside. She lives just outside Seattle with her adventure dog, Nala, her boyfriend, Sky, and her cat, Oscar, who is slowly learning to walk on a leash.
