Hay letras que penetran nuestros corazones, creo que hay compositores muy hábiles para expresar frases que logren hacernos sentir un sin fin de emociones y que además de eso tienen una manera única de componer, hay algunos que no tienen una fama tan exponencial, pero sin duda se han ganado el respeto de los que apreciamos estás joyas musicales que nos han dejado.

A través de la interpretación de Andrés cepeda conocí la canción que hoy les interpreto, debo decir que al principio me fue un poco difícil de digerir, pero luego que le presté atención me fascinó y de allí comencé poco a poco a aprenderla porque no se me hizo nada fácil, tanto como en la guitarra, así como algunas frases vocales.

La letra nos habla de esos amores que deja huellas en nuestras vidas y del dolor amargo que aún causar porque parece que su recuerdo no se borra, una canción nostalgica y con mucho drama.

Para mí abrir el mar significa una oportunidad para ver la grandeza de Dios, una de los pasajes bíblicos que más me emocionan y me sorprende es el momento en que se abre el mar para que el pueblo de Israel pueda cruzar y huir de sus enemigos.

Esta canción expresa la confianza en Dios en medio de las dificultades de la vida y la confianza de que el nos va ayudar en cada situación en el que nos sentimos perdidos.

Después de un par de semanas sin subir mi entrada, regreso con toda la emoción y felicidad del mundo pues me gusta mucho compartir en la comunidad y porque la canción que hoy interpreto solía cantarla mucho en la iglesia, recuerdo que en mis inicios me costaba mucho cantarla por el amplio registro, así que me esforcé en esa época para lograr interpretarla. En esta oportunidad le baje un tono porque estoy saliendo de una gripe y mis agudos no están al cien por ciento.

La canción nos habla sobre la fé en Dios y de que el puede hacer todas las cosas, se hizo la frase: "Hoy las montañas por la fé, se moverán con su poder", es una manera de decir que no hay circunstancias que pueda hacerle frente a El.

After a couple of weeks without posting, I'm back with all the excitement and happiness in the world because I really enjoy sharing with the community and because the song I'm performing today is one I used to sing a lot in church. I remember that when I first started out, I had a hard time singing it because of the wide range, so I worked hard at that time to be able to perform it. This time, I lowered the key because I'm getting over the flu and my high notes aren't 100%.

The song talks about faith in God and how He can do all things. The phrase “Today, mountains will move with His power through faith” is a way of saying that there are no circumstances that can stand in His way.

Hola hola hola, tengo el gusto de regresar una semana más a compartir una de la cosas que más me gustan en esta vida que es cantar y más cuando puedo acompañarme de un instrumento, en esta oportunidad nuevamente escogí el cuatro para interpretar esta canción, a decir verdad le estoy agarrando cariño porque a parte de ser ligero, me gusta la facilidad para hacer algunos acordes y pues su sonoridad es muy relajante y hermosa.

Bien, siguiendo esa misma línea decidí escoger algún tema que se sintiera, fresco, dulce e inspirador, así que buscando canciones de un artista cristiano que solía escuchar mucho, encontré esta bella canción, creo que es una expresión de agradecimiento a Dios por esas cosas que damos por hecho pero que realmente son esenciales para los seres humanos, como el hecho de respirar, sentir la brisa o la lluvia, Alex campos es un compositor que llena de poesía sus letras y la verdad que en mi adolescencia escuché muchísimo sus canciones y recuerdo ese sentimiento de paz y alegría al entender sus letras.

Hello, hello, hello! I am delighted to be back for another week to share one of the things I love most in life, which is singing, especially when I can accompany myself on an instrument. This time, I have once again chosen the cuatro to perform this song. To tell you the truth, I am growing fond of it because, apart from being light, I like how easy it is to play certain chords, and its sound is very relaxing and beautiful.

Well, following that same line of thought, I decided to choose a song that felt fresh, sweet, and inspiring. so while searching for songs by a Christian artist I used to listen to a lot, I found this beautiful song. I think it's an expression of gratitude to God for those things we take for granted but are really essential for human beings, like breathing, feeling the breeze or the rain. Alex Campos is a composer who fills his lyrics with poetry, and the truth is that I listened to his songs a lot in my teens, and I remember that feeling of peace and joy when I understood his lyrics.

Gente bella y hermosa de Hive, les envío un saludo y abrazo virtual, espero que se encuentren bien y les doy la bienvenida a este espacio donde suelo compartir mi gran pasión por la música.

Me alegra poder comenzar este ciclo con buen pie, es decir a tiempo sin estar corriendo para subir mi entrada y en la primera ronda, espero en esta oportunidad poder participar las rondas que restan y como siempre disfrutar el proceso de cada interpretación que traigo a la comunidad. Han Sido días muy locos en mi vida, muchos cambios en la rutina, y pronto vendrán más y estoy preparándome para lo que viene, por eso no me han visto muy seguido por aquí.

Hoy salí de mi zona de confort, además de tocar el cuatro, también quise cantar dos de mis canciones favoritas de la oreja de Van Gohg, mientras practicada rosas, sentí la necesidad de tocar Jueves una canción que toca cada fibra de mi ser pues combina dulzura, ternura y te deja con el corazón hecho pedazos, es que desde el intro ya sabes que esta canción es triste.

Aunque son canciones que conozco, unirlas no fué fácil pues me equivocaba a veces en los cambios de acorde, así que tuve que concentrarme y finalmente después de varias tomas pude obtener una que me gustara, debo decir también que amo la sonoridad del cuatro y el color que le dió a cada tema.

Today I stepped out of my comfort zone. In addition to playing the cuatro, I also wanted to sing two of my favorite songs by La Oreja de Van Gogh. While practicing “Rosas,” I felt the need to play “Jueves,” a song that touches every fiber of my being because it combines sweetness and tenderness and leaves you with your heart in pieces. From the intro, you already know that this song is sad.

Although these are songs I know, putting them together was not easy because I sometimes made mistakes in the chord changes, so I had to concentrate and finally, after several takes, I was able to get one that I liked. I must also say that I love the sound of the cuatro and the color it gave to each song.

Hace algunos meses mi esposo y yo adquirimos un nuevo instrumento en casa, fue un cuatro y estaba muy emocionada porque ya tenía tiempo con ganas de aprender a tocarlo, justo unas semanas después se le partieron unas cuerdas a mi guitarra y como no pude reponerla rápido me tocó usar el cuatro y aprender sobre la marcha,cuando compré las cuerdas guardé el cuatro y me olvidé de él hasta ayer que recordé que estaba allí sin recibir cariño de mi parte, me sentí culpable debo admitir.

Bien, mi historia con la canción que hoy les interpreto me resulta interesante porque era una de las canciones de Shakira que menos me llamaba la atención, me parecía sosa, hasta que realmente le presté atención a la letra y me hizo reflexionar y también imaginarme cada frase de sus versos. Me parece importante tener a nuestro lado personas que se conviertan en ese brazo que nos sostengan cuando caemos, o esas manos que nos ayuden a reconstruirnos cuando estamos rotos, esas personas no son cualquiera, son de nuestra entera confianza y vaya que son tan necesarias.

Escuchando el ritmo de la canción y su esencia musical quedaría muy bien el cuatro y por hoy dejé mi guitarra a un lado, espero que a ustedes les guste tanto como a mi.

A few months ago, my husband and I bought a new instrument for our home, a cuatro, and I was very excited because I had wanted to learn to play it for a long time. Just a few weeks later, some strings on my guitar broke, and since I couldn't replace them quickly, I had to use the cuatro and learn as I went along. When I bought the strings, I put the cuatro away and forgot about it until yesterday, when I remembered it was there, neglected by me. I must admit I felt guilty.

Well, my story with the song I'm performing for you today is interesting because it was one of Shakira's songs that I liked the least. I thought it was bland, until I really paid attention to the lyrics and it made me reflect and also imagine each phrase of her verses. I think it's important to have people by our side who become that arm that holds us up when we fall, or those hands that help us rebuild ourselves when we are broken. Those people are not just anyone; they are people we trust completely, and boy, are they necessary.

Una de las cosas que más amo de cantar es hacer armonías, más que ser voz principal, cuando escucho una canción inmediatamente estoy haciendo la segunda voz, a veces es frustrante no poder hacerlo en los videos que traigo a hive ya que generalmente toma mucho de mi tiempo en edición, pero creo que está canción merecía todo el tiempo del mundo pues es un tema que conozco de hace muchos años y que por supuesto a mí me encanta.

Su letra nos habla de ese agradecimiento profundo a Jesucristo y de la idea de estar perdido sin el, amarlo es una manera de agradecer por todo lo que nos ha dado.

I thought I wouldn't have time to upload my entry this week, and I'm happy I managed to do it despite the various setbacks I had while recording my video. One of the things I love most about singing is harmonizing, more than being the lead singer. When I hear a song, I immediately start singing the second voice. Sometimes it's frustrating not to be able to do that in the videos I post on Hive, since it usually takes a lot of my time to edit, but I think this song deserved all the time in the world because it's a song I've known for many years and, of course, I love it.

The lyrics speak of deep gratitude to Jesus Christ and the idea of being lost without him. Loving him is a way of thanking him for everything he has given us.

Después de unas cuantas semanas sin compartir en el festival, regreso con mucho entusiasmo, es que la vida va tan de prisa que a veces es un tanto difícil controlar el tiempo, así que en esta oportunidad he preparado mi participación más temprano que de costumbre, para que los contratiempos y eventualidades no interfieran y poder publicar mi entrada a tiempo.

Debo reconocer que la canción que hoy elegí me gustaba antes, pero no tanto como para formar parte de mi repertorio de canciones favoritas, hasta que hace poco escuché una versión espectacular que hizo el cantautor de este tema Santiago Cruz con Catalina García de la banda Monsieur Periné, fué simplemente hermoso el trabajo que hicieron ambos y el arreglo musical me encantó, tanto así que no dudé en aprenderla para traerla al festival.

Siento que es un tema super íntimo, no necesita de grandes adornos vocales para destacar porque su melodía y su letra tan encantadora nos atrapa y es inevitable rendirnos ante ella.Creo que a veces nuestra perspectiva de una canción puede cambiar tan sólo con una versión que le dé un enfoque diferente, me suele pasar mucho que prefiero un cover al tema original, es que la creatividad no tiene límites cuando hacemos música.

After a few weeks without sharing at the festival, I return with great enthusiasm. It often happens to me that I prefer a cover to the original song. Creativity has no limits when we make music.

Esta semana me sentí un poco abrumada por qué a mí mente vinieron un montón de canciones que podía interpretar esta semana, pero finalmente canté lo que mi corazón necesitaba expresar y esta canción me causa una paz enorme, me recuerda a mi hermana porque solíamos cantarla mucho cuando ella estaba aquí en Venezuela y entre tantas canciones esta nunca faltaba en nuestro repertorio.

Con las canciones cristianas también me pasa que me gustan las antiguas,siento que tanto como la letra y música tenían una intensión muy profunda y por eso aún hoy en la iglesia sigo cantando esos himnos viejos y canciones que en mi época marcaron a muchas personas.

This week I felt a little overwhelmed because a lot of songs came to mind that I could perform this week, but in the end I sang what my heart needed to express, and this song brings me enormous peace. Feliz inicio de semana gente bonita, espero que hayan disfrutado de su fin de semana, de este lado regresamos con las pilas puestas, me encantan los lunes porque para mí es el reinicio y la oportunidad de comenzar de nuevo.

Me hace feliz cuando logro sacar un tema que tenía tiempo ensayando y por alguna razón no me gustaba o no me salía la canción como quería, a veces me estanco porque no logro dar con un tono adecuado para mí, pero lo cierto es que cuando una canción me da vueltas en la cabeza trato de encontrar una forma en hacer una versión y por supuesto grabarla para hive.

Aunque no me sienta identificada con la letra de la canción pues me considero una persona comprometida decidida en lo que respecta al amor, creo que sí lo miramos desde el punto de vista en que los seres humanos no tenemos el control de lo que sucede y que por más que intentemos lograr algo hay circunstancias que pueden cambiar totalmente nuestra vida, aunque es sabía trabajar por nuestro futuro, creo que es incierto, nadie sabe lo que puede suceder mañana.

Happy start to the week, everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. On this side, we're back with our batteries recharged. I love Mondays because, for me, they're a fresh start and an opportunity to begin again.

It makes me happy when I manage to release a song that I've been rehearsing for a while and for some reason I didn't like or couldn't get the song to come out the way I wanted. Sometimes I get stuck because I can't find the right tone for me, but the truth is that when a song is stuck in my head, I try to find a way to make a version of it and, of course, record it for Hive.

Although I don't identify with the lyrics of the song because I consider myself a committed person when it comes to love, I think that if we look at it from the point of view that human beings have no control over what happens and that no matter how hard we try to achieve something, there are circumstances that can totally change our lives, even though it is wise to work for our future, I think it is uncertain, no one knows what can happen tomorrow.
