Llegamos a las semana 275 con una interesante temática que me dejó pensativa sobre que canción podía traer esta semana. Hoy me salgo un poco de mi zona de confort por el género musical, aunque no es lo que suelo cantar pienso que la letra de la canción es muy bonita y positiva.

La segunda línea de esta canción dice "Me gusta el primer traguito café" y para mí es una de las mejores maneras de comenzar el día, para mí esposo y para mí tomar un café es un momento de intimidad donde conversamos en la primera hora de la mañana y es algo que hacemos todos los días.

La canción habla de esos pequeños detalles que nos hacen mirar la vida de una manera hermosa, esas cositas que parecen insignificantes pero que en algún momento nos llenan el alma cuando apreciamos lo valiosas que son. Me conecté mucho con la letra así que fué fácil cantarla y aprenderla.

We arrived at week 275 with an interesting theme that left me thinking about what song I could bring this week. Today I go a little out of my comfort zone because of the musical genre, although it is not what I usually sing I think the lyrics of the song are very nice and positive.

The second line of this song says “Me gusta el primer traguito café” and for me it is one of the best ways to start the day, for my husband and me having a coffee is a moment of intimacy where we talk in the first hour of the morning and it is something we do every day.

The song talks about those little details that make us look at life in a beautiful way, those little things that seem insignificant but at some point fill our souls when we appreciate how valuable they are. I really connected with the lyrics so it was easy to sing and learn.

Hola hola hola querida y estimada gente de Hive, espero que estén disfrutando su fin de semana y que les vaya bonito. Por aquí vamos bien, ajetreado y ocupado como la mayoría de mis días, pero siempre se saca un tiempito para compartir por estos lugares.

Ayer tuve una conversación interesante con mi esposo que me hizo recordar una canción que cuando la escuché me llamó la atención por su letra, ya que cuenta una historia que al principio parecía una cosa y luego hubo un cambio que la hizo muy interesante porque en la vida real suele suceder ese tipo de experiencias.

En nuestra conversación tocamos el tema de la amistad, mi esposo suele darle un valor muy importante a sus amigos, pero hay uno en particular que pienso que realmente no es su amigo, ya que nunca se preocupa por mi esposo, no le escribe, lo ignora y su actitud no es nada agradable, pero mi esposo seguía insistiendo en mantener la amistad a pesar de no ser recíproca. Después de tanto tiempo el me dijo que entendió que hay amigos que están por cierto tiempo en nuestras vidas, cumplen un ciclo y hasta allí llegan, no podemos forzar algunas amistades ni obligar a personas a quedarse cuando no quieren.

Esta canción que hoy les interpreto me recuerda que efectivamente hay amores que llegaron para hacernos vivir cosas hermosas, pero que también tienen un tiempo limitado, están allí para enseñarnos algunas cosas y cuando llegue el momento hay que dejarlos ir porque nos aguarda la persona indicada que se quedará para continuar la historia de nuestras vidas.

Yesterday I had an interesting conversation with my husband that made me remember a song that when I heard it caught my attention because of its lyrics, since it tells a story that at first seemed like one thing and then there was a change that made it very interesting because in real life that kind of experience usually happens.

In our conversation we touched the subject of friendship, my husband usually gives a very important value to his friends, but there is one in particular that I think is not really his friend, since he never cares about my husband, he does not write to him, he ignores him and his attitude is not nice at all, but my husband kept insisting on keeping the friendship even though it is not reciprocal. After so much time he told me that he understood that there are friends who are in our lives for a certain time, they fulfill a cycle and that's as far as they go, we can not force some friendships or force people to stay when they do not want to.

This song that I interpret today reminds me that there are indeed loves that came to make us live beautiful things, but they also have a limited time, they are there to teach us some things and when the time comes we must let them go because the right person awaits us who will stay to continue the story of our lives.

Sinceramente pensé que no encontraría una canción referente al tema que me gustara, así que por mi mente pasó no participar esta semana, sin embargo recordé una canción de la película de Disney "La sirenita" y lo que me encanta de edta canción es lo divertida que es así que no dudé en practicarla para traerla.

En la película el personaje "Sebastián" intenta persuadir a la protagonista hablando sobre las diferencias de la vida bajo el mar y la vida con los humanos y me parece muy gracioso algunas frases que dice la canción además del ritmo y la frescura del tema que sin duda nos hace sentir cerca del mar.

I honestly thought that I would not find a song about this topic that I liked, so I thought that I would not participate this week, however I remembered a song from the Disney movie “The Little Mermaid” and what I love about this song is how funny it is so I did not hesitate to practice it to bring it.

In the movie the character “Sebastian” tries to persuade the protagonist talking about the differences of life under the sea and life with humans and I find very funny some phrases that says the song in addition to the rhythm and freshness of the theme that certainly makes us feel close to the sea.

Tomar un respiro y sentarse a reflexionar sobre nuestra vida es totalmente necesario y sobre todo en estos días donde el mundo está al revés, no sé que sería de mi sin ese tiempo de conexión espiritual dónde salgo con nuevas fuerzas, renovada y con mucha fé para seguir adelante.

Una de la cosas que considero primordial y esencial para mantener la paz y una mente sana es la práctica de la gratitud, a veces olvidamos todo lo que hemos avanzado, las cosas que hemos superado y de los días duros de los cuáles logramos salir con vida. Con el tiempo he aprendido que es mejor llenarse de agradecimiento por las bendiciones que Dios me ha dado, son muchísimas por cierto que quedarme hundida en la tristeza y depresión, porque hay que entender que también es válido sentirse agobiados, somos seres humanos, pero mi manera de salir de ese hoyo es no olvidando que Dios me ha dado muchos motivos para seguir adelante.

Hoy escogí un himno hermoso que expresa un agradecimiento profundo por todo lo que Dios ha hecho en nuestras vidas, sinceramente es uno de mis himnos favoritos y cantarlo me hace muy feliz.Como muchos himnos antiguos este fué versionado al español y la primera vez que lo escuché fué de la Cantante Cristal Lewis, admiro completamente a esta mujer por su calidad vocal.

Taking a break and sitting down to reflect on our life is totally necessary and especially in these days where the world is upside down, I do not know what would be of me without that time of spiritual connection where I leave with new strength, renewed and with great faith to move forward.

One of the things that I consider primordial and essential to maintain peace and a healthy mind is the practice of gratitude, sometimes we forget everything we have advanced, the things we have overcome and the hard days from which we managed to get out alive. Pensando en el tema propuesto para esta semana, lo asocié a las emociones tan intensas de la etapa del enamoramiento, en ocasiones se acuña la frase "fuegos artificiales" para hacer referencia a ese estallido de felicidad que nos ocurre cuando nos enamoramos, por eso me pareció ideal esta canción que por cierto debo decir que me encanta.

Hola hola hola gente querida de hive, espero que su semana vaya bien y conforme a sus planes, por este lado seguimos con muchas actividades académicas en el colegio de mi niño y además he estado ayudando a mi hermana que está próxima a graduarse de sexto grado, así que he estado ocupada pero siempre se puede apartar un tiempo para la música.

Cuando sueño practicar música hay días en las que siento que mi voz fluye mejor que en otras oportunidades, por ejemplo, la semana pasada ensayé mucho "La incondicional" pero no me gustaba como se me escuchaba, así que desistí de la idea de grabarla, pero hoy cuando tomé mi guitarra nuevamente me gustó mucho como se escuchó y en cuestión de minutos ya estaba lista, esto me pasa mucho, hay semanas en las que estoy arriba y otras en las que no tanto y he aprendido a que la frustración no me gane y usar ese tiempo de inactividad para descansar y buscar inspiración para regresar con todo.

Creo que mi historia con esta canción es diferente porque en un principio no me encantaba, pero gracias a la persuasión de mi esposo logré sentirla de una manera más intensa y lograr lo que para mí es muy importante que es la conexión con lo que estoy cantando.

Hello hello hello dear people of hive, I hope your week is going well and according to your plans, on this side we still have a lot of academic activities at my son's school and also I have been helping my sister who is about to graduate from sixth grade, so I have been busy but you can always set aside some time for music.

When I dream of practicing music there are days when I feel that my voice flows better than other times, for example, last week I rehearsed a lot “La incondicional” but I didn't like how it sounded, so I gave up the idea of recording it, but today when I picked up my guitar again I really liked how it sounded and in a matter of minutes it was ready, this happens to me a lot, there are weeks when I am on top and others when not so much and I have learned to not let frustration win me over and use that downtime to rest and seek inspiration to come back with everything.

I think my story with this song is different because at first I didn't love it, but thanks to my husband's persuasion I managed to feel it in a more intense way and achieve what for me is very important which is the connection with what I'm singing.

Feliz fin de semana para toda la comunidad de Hive, últimamente espero con mucho entusiasmo los días de descanso porque he estado en muchas ocupaciones, así que para mí viernes es sinónimo de descanso y de quedarse despierta hasta tarde porque el sábado no hay que madrugar, al menos que mi hijo quiera despertarse a las 5:00 am 😭, ojalá que no.

En fin, para mí también el descanso es sinónimo de mucha música, normalmente escucho más música en estos días porque suelo asear mi hogar y terminar algunos proyectos personales, así que necesito mi motivación y coloco por varias horas canciones de diferentes estilos, así que me inspiro de esta manera para practicar y luego traer temas a hive.

Mi elección para esta ronda es un tema cursi y meloso pero que en su época se escuchó muchísimo, escuchar los primeros acordes era muy emocionante y en ocasiones en mi casa se escuchaban gritos de emoción porque es una canción preciosa de amor que vale la pena seguir cantando y recordando en esta época.

En mi mente hay muchísimos recuerdos al rededor de esta linda canción, a pesar de que a penas era una niña de 8 años logré conectar con el mensaje de este tema y la importancia de un amor que te cuide y sostenga, gracias a mi madre que estaba obsesionada pude hacer mía esta canción.

Happy weekend to all the Hive community, lately I look forward to the rest days with a lot of enthusiasm because I have been in many occupations, so for me Friday is synonymous of rest and staying up late because on Saturday there is no need to get up early, unless my son wants to wake up at 5:00 am 😭, hopefully not.

Anyway, for me also rest is synonymous with lots of music, I usually listen to more music these days because I usually clean my home and finish some personal projects, so I need my motivation and I post for several hours songs of different styles, so I get inspired this way to practice and then bring tracks to hive.

My choice for this round is a cheesy and mellow song but in its time it was heard a lot, listening to the first chords was very exciting and sometimes in my house you could hear screams of excitement because it is a beautiful love song that is worth to keep singing and remembering in this time.

Hay canciones que dan justo en el clavo, algunas llegan en un momento preciso y parecen una coincidencia porque reflejan alguna situación personal y por supuesto conectamos con ella porque que son un reflejo de nuestra vida.

Así me pasó cuando escuché "Tu luz" una canción que describe los sentimientos de un padre de una niña autista y que no tardo en convertirse en un himno para muchos padres que tenemos un niño con esa condición en casa, como algunos saben tengo un hijo con diagnóstico de TEA (transtorno del espectro autista) y me escuché en cada palabra de esta canción, tanto así que tarde en traerla a hive porque no podía contener mis lágrimas al cantarla, así que esperé un tiempo para poder hacerlo.

Es la primera vez que interpreto algo y evito un poco sentir la canción, me pasó en mi varias oportunidades que mientras cantaba y me concentraba mucho en la letra se me hacía un nudo en la garganta. Sin duda es una canción hermosa sobre el gran amor y admiración que sentimos los padres de niños Autistas, espero que les guste mi versión.

There are songs that hit the nail right on the head, some come at a precise moment and seem like a coincidence because they reflect a personal situation and of course we connect with it because they are a reflection of our life.

So it happened to me when I heard “Tu luz” a song that describes the feelings of a father of an autistic girl and that soon became an anthem for many parents who have a child with that condition at home, as some of you know I have a son with a diagnosis of ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and I heard myself in every word of this song, so much so that it took me a while to bring it to hive because I could not hold back my tears when singing it, so I waited a while to be able to do it.

It is the first time I interpret something and I avoid feeling the song a little bit, it happened to me several times that while I was singing and concentrating a lot on the lyrics I got a lump in my throat. Without a doubt it is a beautiful song about the great love and admiration that we parents of autistic children feel, I hope you like my version.

Quizas esta semana me alejé un poco del tema dado, pero pienso que "La montaña" puede tener muchas interpretaciones depende del contexto dado.

En muchas canciones cristianas podemos escuchar que las montañas se pueden derribar gracias a la fuerza y poder de Dios, un obstáculo que gracias a la fé podemos derribar.

Se me ocurrió que Way maker expresa lo que puede hacer Dios cuando está obrando en nuestra vidas, como Todopoderoso no hay nada que pueda hacerle frente, además de eso tuve tiempo de añadirle armonías y me encantó el resultado.

Después de unas cuentas semanas de ausencia en el festival tengo el gran placer de regresar para seguir compartiendo una de mis pasiones favoritas en la vida, me alegra ver qué cada día se suman nuevos músicos talentosos a este espacio y aunque yo de vez en cuando me tome algunos días de vacaciones, mientras pueda regresaré por estos lados.

Debo decir con sinceridad que mi día de grabación fue caótico, cuando pensé que tendría paz y tranquilidad el perro de mi vecina decidió que era buen momento para ladrar a todo lo que dar, además de eso muchos vecinos aprovechar para unirse al escándalo así que me tocó esperar estar en total silencio y además hacerlo en el menor tiempo posible porque tenía que atender a mi hijo, me habría encantado tener más tiempo para mejorar algunos detalles de afinación, alguna que otra palabra que invertí de la letra y otros arreglos en la guitarra, pero era esto o nada.

Juanes marcó una época muy especial en mi vida, su música era espectacular y cuando me colocaba mis auriculares me sumergía en sus letras tan bonitas que era imposible no repetir sus canciones una y otra vez y eso me ocurrió en estos días cuando estaba en la cocina, escuché muchas veces "Nada valgo sin tu amor", "gotas de agua dulce" y por supuesto "A Dios le pido", asi que no dudé en empezar a practicar este tema para el festival. No fué una canción fácil para mí pues siento que más de una vez me quedé sin aire ya que estaba cantando la parte del coro y eso me hizo sentir agotada, sin embargo valió la pena intentar porque es una canción bellísima.

After a few weeks of absence from the festival I have the great pleasure of returning to continue sharing one of my favorite passions in life, I'm glad to see that every day new talented musicians are added to this space and although I occasionally take some vacation days, as long as I can I will return to these parts.

I must say with sincerity that my recording day was chaotic, when I thought I would have peace and quiet my neighbor's dog decided it was a good time to bark at the top of his lungs, besides that many neighbors took advantage to join the scandal so I had to wait to be in total silence and also do it in the shortest time possible because I had to attend to my son, I would have loved to have more time to improve some details of tuning, some words that I inverted from the lyrics and other arrangements on the guitar, but it was this or nothing.

Juanes marked a very special time in my life, his music was spectacular and when I put on my headphones I was immersed in his lyrics so beautiful that it was impossible not to repeat his songs over and over again and that happened to me these days when I was in the kitchen, I heard many times “Nada valgo sin tu amor”, “gotas de agua dulce” and of course “A Dios le pido”, so I did not hesitate to start practicing this song for the festival. It was not an easy song for me because I feel that more than once I ran out of air as I was singing the chorus part and that made me feel exhausted, however it was worth trying because it is a beautiful song.
