I'm joined to day by my friend Linda Nicole Blair, who is not only an amazing local singer/songwriter, but is also a published author. We go way back to when she was recording at Monkey Trench Studios with Bradly the Wizard Miranda, and I was assisting with some tracking. Later on, she became a guest on my old show On The Edge. Today we discuss a little of her musical history and what she's been doing since the release of her last full length album, as well as her upcoming book about women in music and poetry throughout history. I recently had the chance to catch up with John McEntee, guitarist/vocalist for legendary OG death metal band Incantation, who was pivotal in helping to define the original NYDM scene as well as the global scene as a whole. We had an epic conversation about the band's history, his thoughts on the scene, the status of the newest upcoming Incantation album (and the one after that!), his other projects Tribe of Pazuzu and Beast of Revelation,  and what he's been doing during his newly-found social distance-inspired free time! We also got into some gear talk, including his amp/cabinet set up as well as his in-production SP Custom guitar. Tons of cool stuff, so many rabbit holes, literally piles of awesomeness.
