July 28, 2026 EP 3: Keep David Shearing in Prison Part 1
Monsters walk among us. In this episode – part one of a two part story – we set the scene for what was arguably one of BC’s worst true crime cases. Violence rained down on an innocent family camping trip near Wells Gray Provincial Park in August 1982. We go over the early days of the story and the start of the investigation (one of the most expensive investigations in Canadian History).
Part Two will be released August 4th.

Winter 2012 at Cypress Mountain: a 33 year old snowboarder spent nearly 3 days in the frigid backcountry. The days navigating through heavy snow were harrowing for Sebastien Boucher. The rescue was a result of the hard work of volunteers and some sheer luck. An incredible story… with some controversy too.

July 14, 2026 EP 1: Remembering Sylvia Apps
In July 2014, Sylvia Apps, an amazing woman and highly experienced hiker, set out on a 5 day solo backpacking trip in Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island. She did not return when expected and searches were initiated… but what searchers do find leaves them with more questions than answers. Twelve years later, many remain mystified as to what happened to Sylvia.
