Steve is joining us to talk about how he is approaching Reality Number 2 in the Seven Realties for Experiencing God study by Richard Blackaby (www.amazon.com). His approach my surprise you.

Steve starts his study by asking “What is a ‘personal relationship with God?” Could we explain it to other people with using the word love? Or other loaded Christian words? Frankly, this question took our hosts off guard. What is Steve trying to get at? One word— joy.

This week we welcome Pastor Benji Nobels of Greater Believer’s Worship Center in Moultrie, GA. We are picking up with the First Reality, that God is at work all around us and wants us to join in His work.

This week is all about looking for what God is already doing around you and making the decision to get involved. We ask Pastor Benji how he manages a high stress, full time career in corrections, as well as pastor a church plant. We ask how he jumped on board with what God was doing by moving to Moultrie.

This week we take a break from our regularly scheduled programming to bring you a community driven companion podcast to the Seven Realities for Experiencing God study. This is truly a community wide movement including 25 churches and over 2400 people in Colquitt County and beyond.

In this episode we interview Pastor John Eubanks of Friendship Alliance Church (friendshipalliancemoultrie.org). When John moved to Moultrie, he had a call on his life to embrace the community and pray for a movement of the Holy Spirit. That all started with spray painted welcomed mats and has grown into a 24 hour prayer movement and a pastor prayer group.

John 17:23 sees Jesus praying for the future of the Church—His Bride. He asks “that they may be perfectly one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” (ESV). This is at the heart of Mission Moultrie.
