Mission: Recall

In full transparency, we actually wanted to watch Men In Black for this episode, but it disappeared from HBO Max so we called an audible and chose the Harrison Ford classic, Air Force One. Does it soar or crash and burn? Tune in to find out!

It's a double feature as we decide, once and for all, whether Volcano or Dante's Peak is the superior disaster flick! Are you a Tommy Lee Jones Stan or a Pierce Brosnan Bro?

Oriana is on Team Volcano and Steve is Team Dante's Peak. Only one can survive!

We watch the Paul Verhoeven classic Total Recall, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. We discuss why it's such an iconic film, why Verhoeven is the GOAT, and why the 2012 remake is such an abomination.

In this episode we discuss the singular hit "Twister" and explore the brief, wonderful period of 90's disaster movies.

Prepare to "go in" to explore the sexual tension between Paxton and Hunt, the Chaotic Good energy of Philip Seymour Hoffman, and how the worst thing anyone could accuse you of in the 90's was needing to go to therapy.

In our inaugural episode, your hosts Oriana Schwindt and Stephen Parkhurst discuss "The Mummy," directed by Stephen Sommers and starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz.

We explore how the film holds up so well after two decades, and why the doomed "Dark Universe" reboot in 2017 failed so spectacularly.
