In this episode, in collaboration with the PMc Academia, we share a book recommendation on the topic of preaching from a missions perspective. Though we firmly believe that preaching is more caught than taught, we also acknowledge that too many, sadly, are not exposed to healthy and Biblical expository preaching. Today's book is a must-read for preachers and listeners - The Kind of Preaching God Blesses by Dr. Steve Lawson.

This week's episode is a sermon from the Gospel of Mark, chapter 6, that was preached for our brothers and sisters at the New Life Church in Vicenza, Italy. We see our Shepherd and Lord, Jesus Christ, compassionately nourishing souls while training and equipping His apostles to the work He is calling them to. In addition, we look at 4 Soul-Strengthening Truths for Weary Souls.

I. When living for Jesus it is good and right to get alone for rest and reflection
II. Christians are called to have compassion for the lost
III. Everyone has countless guides and shepherds, but they need Jesus, the Good Shepherd
IV. To live for Jesus we need His strength
