Another Q&A from our Ask-A-Missionary series. This is our way to let people ask questions about missions, evangelism, and apostolic-style church planting to real missionaries to Italy. The question for today is a good one for those desiring to know more about the PMc ministry.

What mission are you with and what makes PMc unique?

Episode 232 on the PMc podcast is part of a new series we are starting for recommending quality books with a missions focus. Not all books are worth your time. Many books, even "Christian" books, can at best offer you little, and at worst lead you astray. We recommend this book to our ministry partners and friends as a helpful resource to get a more Biblical understanding of the Jesus of the Bible and what He commands or demands from His disciples.

In Mark 2:23 - 3:6 we see Jesus being observed and accused while He demonstrates Himself to be God and Lord of the sabbath.

In this message, we learn a number of things:

• The importance of Enjoying a sabbath rest as a gift from God
• To be rightly troubled
• To decide what we will do with the true Jesus, the sovereign and holy God of the Bible
• To remember that we are observed by others - we must live worthy of the call - but we are also observed and interceded for by Christ Himself who was nailed to a tree and observed while carrying our sins upon Himself to satisfy God the Father's wrath.

Fruitful marriages and families are fundamental for mission work. Yet on the mission field, marriages can be under great pressure. They live in a different culture where everything is a bit more complicated. They endure the pressures of ministry, isolation, spiritual warfare, sacrifice, limited resources, and more. Here is a book we highly commend to you, whether you are pursuing missions, involved in missions, or simply living for Christ in this fallen world that does not have an interest in your marriage flourishing.
