The Church at Pergamum was commended by Jesus for enduring the evil around them, unfortunately, they were also enduring the evil within them. Jesus instructs them to repent and then enjoy the blessings of His Kingdom.

The church at Smyrna was enduring intense persecution on top of living in extreme poverty. Jesus has some really hard but really encouraging words for them. These words also are for us to hear as we seek to remain faithful to the Lord.

The Church at Ephesus was commended for its steadfast faith and strong doctrine. However, in all their efforts to defend doctrine, their love for Christ had gone cold. Jesus calls them to remember their love for Him, repent from their sin, and walk in love again. The warning is don't let your doctrine crowd out your devotion and love for Christ.
