Turry Flucker talks with poet Catherine Pierce. Catherine is the author of three books of poems: The Tornado Is the World, The Girls of Peculiar and Famous Last Words. Catherine grew up in Delaware, and earned her B.A. from Susquehanna University, her M.F.A. from the Ohio State University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri. She now lives in Starkville where she is an associate professor and co-director of the creative writing program at Mississippi State University.

Turry Flucker speaks with photographer Maude Schuyler Clay and folklorist Bill Ferris about the life and art of photographer William Eggleston. Eggleston's photographs are the subject of an exhibition at the University of Mississippi Museum called 'The Beautiful Mysterious: The Extraordinary Gaze of William Eggleston. The show runs until January 14, 2017 in Oxford.

Larry Morrisey talks with photographer and Delta State University professor Kim Rushing about his new book, Parchman. Rushing is the first professional photographer to be allowed to photograph inside the state penitentiary, and his book documents life inside the prison through the lives of several inmates.

Turry Flucker talks to Executive Director Suzanne Hirsch and Director of School Advancement Jeffifer Jackson at the Mississippi School of the Arts. They discuss the history of the school, the programs the school offers and historic preservation efforts on campus.

Malcolm White talks to Charlotte Smelser, Arts Education Director at the Mississippi Arts Commission about arts education programs offered in the state. He also talks to Ken Bolinsky, the coordinator for the statewide Poetry Out Loud contest. Through the Poetry Out Loud curriculum, teachers guide students to a deeper, richer understanding of the power of language and literature by helping them develop a personal relationship with great poems. And finally, Malcolm talks to musician Elaine Maisel who works with the Link Up program. Link Up pairs orchestras with students in grades three through five to explore orchestral repertoire through a hands-on music curriculum.

Melia Dicker talks to Cleveland, Mississippi based photographer Rory Doyle. Doyle talks about photographing the many different ways of life he has seen in the Delta and around the world and shares some stories about the people he has met and photographed.

Larry Morrisey talks with fiddler and researcher Harry Bolick, author of “Mississippi Fiddle Tunes and Songs from the 1930s.” The book tells the story of efforts during the 1920s and 30s to collect old-time fiddle tunes around the state. It also features detailed musical transcriptions of the tunes for fiddlers and other musicians to utilize

Pat and Dennis talk about the history and culture of Ocean Springs and the artifacts and exhibits on display at the museum.
