Welcome to the Missoula Makers Minute — your official weekly update from us, the Missoula Makers Collective team.
This is our way of keeping you in the loop on everything happening inside our storefront at 112 West Front Street in downtown Missoula. Each Friday, we hop into the Trail 103.3 studios to record a quick, real-time update on what’s new — so by Monday, you're already in the know.
🎙️ Think of this as a mini micro-news podcast — just a minute or two — where we share what’s fresh in the shop, what’s changing, who’s joining us, upcoming events, and big announcements (like this week’s store expansion 👀).
🛠️ For the week of June 16–23, 2025, we’re excited to tell you all about the construction going on behind that big temporary wall — yep, we’re expanding! More space means more room for Makers, new categories, and two awesome semi-permanent vendor spaces coming soon.
🎧 You can catch us here each week, hear the radio versions on Trail 103.3, or follow along on Instagram — however you tune in, thank you for being part of this creative little corner of Missoula.

Get ready for another exciting installment of our Missoula Makers Maker interview series! This week, we had the pleasure of chatting with Kendall, the owner of Wimsicle Wearables, who has been with us since our very first market in the Oi! Yoi! studio. Kendall shares her journey of creating polymer clay, food-themed jewelry and miniatures for the past 10 years - starting in elementary school! Listen in as we discuss the evolution of her business and how it has grown from selling to friends in school, to participating in markets all around Missoula and Montana.
In this episode, Kendall highlights some of her favorite products, including the new and trendy croc charms, which have been a huge success. She also discusses her venture into making hand-printed stickers using carving tools and erasers, and how printmaking has become a popular and enjoyable hobby. Join us at our market tonight at Caras Park from 5.30 to 8.30 pm, where you'll find Whimsical Wearables alongside almost 30 other incredible vendors, not to mention food trucks, live music, and an all-around amazing atmosphere.
