"Mental health is a growing topic of discussion not only in our community and country, but around the world. Youth suicide rates are increasing, diagnoses of mental illness is increasing, and hopelessness is increasing. What is going on in our world? Is it a physical problem? Is it a spiritual problem? Is it both?
This week we will be diving into a biblical view of mental health. We will briefly break down some of the physical components of mental health, and then take a dive into the spiritual foundation of having a healthy mind. I have gone down this road myself in my own battle with anxiety and depression. Through reading the book of Habakuk and great pastoral counseling I found peace in the Fear of the Lord, Faith, and Rejoicing in the trial. Come join us this week for a time of teaching, fellowship, and worship!"

Key Passage - Habakuk 3:17-19: Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail, and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places. (ESV)
