Cancer Council Victoria is calling on the community to participate in Daffodil Day this year to help raise funds for vital cancer research. This year, over 33,000 Victorians will be diagnosed with cancer, and while survival rates have increased for certain cancers, there is still much to be done. Known internationally as a day of hope for those affected by cancer, Friday 24 August marks the 32nd Daffodil Day in Australia. There are many ways people can get involved and show support: by volunteering time, wearing a pin, buying fresh daffodils or donating on Daffodil Day.
