As property prices continue to rise, pushing many toward rentals, the Ministry of Housing and Local Government has proposed establishing a Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) to regulate tenancies. While Malaysia currently lacks specific legislation governing rentals, the RTA has received mixed feedback.
