Corona VIrus is ripping across the country and all over the globe. How do we stay sane and decrease the stress we may be feeling during this pandemic?
Drink a Coronarita.
Rocks Version:
In a shaker filled with ice, combine the tequila, triple sec and lime juice and shake it up. pour it into a large pint glass that's been rimmed with lime juice and coarse salt (kosher, sea, spicy).
I'd rather use a deeper pint glass than the traditional marg glass
tip the corona into the glass, bottle and all and garnish with a lime wedge.
Frozen Version:
Combine all ingredients except the beer into your blender. Blend with ice until smooth. Pour into a large glass like a pint glass. Tip the Corona into the glass and leave it there bottle and all
Garnish with a lime wedge
Stay well and wash your hands

Today's Cocktail was the the Lavender Bees Knees
Lavender Bee's Knees Cocktail
2 oz gin
¾ oz lavender honey syrup
¾ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
combine all of these ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake it until your hand gets cold. strain it into a coupe glass and add a twist of lemon, a honeycomb or a sprig of lavender to garnish.
To make the Honey Lavender syrup:
combine 1/4 of honey with 1/4 cup of water and about 2 T of lavender flowers over low heat. Stir the mixture until its totally combined which will take about 10 mins or so.
pull the mix off the heat and set aside to cool. Strain into a glass jar and keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
I used Empress 1908 Gin, which is a beautiful purple gin that gets its color from butterfly pea blossom.
In this episode, Terri goes rouge without a script or an outline as a challenge to see if she can have a cohesive thought while having hot flashes.
Luckily, the Celebrated Sagamore is spectacular and you should definitely make it.

INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS
This is similar to the syrup Terri makes:
https://www.thelittleepicurean.com/2014/11/cranberry-orange-bourbon.html
In a small pot, bring water and sugar to a boil. Add cranberries and stir until coated in syrup. Cook for 30-45 seconds just before the cranberries start to pop open. Remove from heat and transfer to a 1/2 liter jar. Add cinnamon stick. Pour in brandy. Pour in enough sugar syrup to fill the jar. Cover with lid and let chill in the fridge for at least 48 hours before using. The longer it sits, the better it gets
