Where does creativity come from, how do we encourage it and where does it live? What happens when creativity gets interrupted by family, animals and life?
Elizabeth Gilbert wrote in BIG MAGIC that creativity is a living thing and an idea will leave if its not paid proper attentions to- which is a totally cool idea.

Personal Hygiene, privacy in bathrooms , getting skunked are all related in this episode. Thank goodness for the Watermelon Rescue, which has been on hand almost every weekend of the summer.
Watermelon Rescue
Ingredients:
2oz gin, tequila, vodka maybe rum.
1/2 oz. Jalapeño simple syrup
4 oz. watermelon juice
1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
5-6 Basil leaves
(Makes 1 drink)
To make simple syrup:
combine 1/2 C sugar ( white, raw, turbinado with 1/2 C water and simmer jalapenos until all the sugar has dissolved. remove from heat and let cool. The longer you leave the peppers in the spicier the syrup will be. Remove jalapeños and strain into glass jar. Store in fridge
Scoop and squeeze a watermelon over a strainer and into a large measuring cup or bowl. You can do this in a blender, but I like the way it turns out when it's squeezed by hand.
Put basil leaves in a cocktail shaker. Add ice then liquids.
Shake till very cold
Strain into a martini glass
Garnish with a thin slice of watermelon.
Variations:
Infuse liquor with sliced jalapeños for at least an hour or more until it reaches desired spiciness. Omit simple syrup
Omit liquor and add seltzer to make non-alcoholic.
Use some of the watermelon juice to make ice cubes
In this episode, Terri freestyles a bit with some easy Instagram tips and explains what a podcast show note is (you're reading it right now!)
Make your Fourth of July cocktails in Red, White and Blue.
RED: A simple Negroni with equal parts gin, Campari and Antica Carpano
WHITE: Tequila and Soda, Vodka Soda, or a nice dry Martini
BLUE: 4 Parts Gin 1 Part Blue Curacao a dash of Dolin Dry Vermouth
When a word pops up over and over and over again, it's time to decipher its meaning. In this episode, Terri learns about flow from a Ted Talk by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi (pronounced Mehigh Chicksentmehigh- Thanks Carolyn -Wellness While Walking
Get into the Flow with a Lava Flow Cocktail, which is a bit like a Pina Colada:
4 oz coconut rum
4 oz White rum
10 oz frozen strawberries
8 oz Pineapple juice
8 oz cream of coconut
Combine the rums and strawberries in a blender. Blend till smooth
Pour the puree into 2 tall glasses, clean blender then add pinapple juice and cream of coconut to the clean blender. Blend till smooth
Slowly pour the coconut pineapple mix onto the strawberry mix and it will begin to swirl together. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
Best if made with all cold ingredients. Add a frozen banana when blending the coconut creme/pineapple if desired.
