One of the most common complaints I see on social media is that MLB umpires are terrible. The Astros were nearly screwed by a missed call on Jose Altuve's foul ball. The good news is they won.

I'm going to say something that's probably not popular...I don't think the umps do a terrible job. That was a missed call. That was a bad job. That said, I don't think the umps are terrible overall. The most annoying fans are those who constantly carp about umps.
