This week’s show begins with an ode to Daryl Grove, who is currently battling cancer. Daryl is a producer of MLS Assist, helped create and brand the show, and, above all, is an amazing man. We are immeasurably thankful for him and for the impact that he has on our lives and the lives of so many others. Daryl, you are in our prayers.
During the much less important Major League Soccer part of the show, Joe and Jordan analyze New York Red Bulls/USMNT youngster Caden Clark and chat about a couple of other promising young American talents. Then there’s triangle talk (and Alvaro Medran appreciation) from Saturday’s matchup between Chicago and SKC and analysis of Thierry Henry’s smart gameplan that led the Montreal Impact to a 2-1 win over Inter Miami. Finally, as always, we get to Tactical Tidbits. This week's tidbits feature Toronto FC, the Portland Timbers, the Seattle Sounders, and Matías Almeyda's hair.
