This is a mix for the emotional larper in all of us - FFO fantasy, epic adventure, and a good cry session. - @nailah-hunter

"C O N T A C T" was transmitted in the Miracle Zone, Xanadu, February 2021. Sparkly & company were searching and stumbling to unEarth light during an especially dark time. They offer prescriptions for contact and cryptic clues towards union with the core. It is here you may acknowledge the invisible with your eyes wide open. How slippery your dorsal fin must feel as you head towards that hole. Like I said, it's about LOVE, FUN and SURPRISES.

This week, @maxsalty delivers an hour of sumptuous sounds from 1955–1978 to give your private longings the Italian cinematic backdrop they deserve. True to its title, this mix is a fusion of light and darkness, pairing smoky twilight jazz with bright ballads of love and anguish from classic Italian pop divas. A mix to be savored fireside on a cold evening, with Chianti and a bleeding heart.

This is a recording of a set originally streamed live on VPN Radio on the 4th of July. Saish (aka SwarJi) had hit me up that morning and asked, since we were all stuck at home for the holiday (and feeling more than a bit skeptical of the spirit of patriotism), if I wanted to join him for an impromptu stream and play some music--less as a celebration of the 4th than an angsty refutation. Naturally I pulled some drum & bass records and adjacent 'fast music' for channeling these feelings! As the stuck-at-home-reading-heavy-news days stretch on I think that we're all still feeling a need for some kind of defiant catharsis, and I hope that this can help someone out there to achieve that! Thank you to Saish for the very appropriate cover image and to the mmarz fam for letting me share this recording :) peace - @berrmax

It’s an action movie, it’s a double-black diamond, it’s a dance party, it’s... all inside your head. No need to pack a bag, just grab your last brain cell... It’s Simpletonia!
