On May 2nd, 27 year old mother Karlie Langley was killed in a crash by a drunk acquaintance taking her to work. For her family, the nightmare was just beginning as they came to discover that the driver of the car, Jacob Hall, had several previous DUIs, and witnesses have alleged that Karlie had desperately wanted out of the car before the crash. This week, we talked to Karlie’s sister Katie about the red flags she saw prior to the incident and the aftermath of Karlie’s death.

After a fight with his girlfriend, Calvin “Johnny” Hunt allegedly asked to be let out of the car on the side of a freeway in Cleveland, TN on May 29th, 2019. But Johnny hasn’t been seen or heard from since, and his brother, Brian, isn’t sure what to believe about what happened that night. On the evening of January 17th, 2020, Veronica Reyes Diaz went out to dinner with friends in Dover, Florida. After putting her kids to bed, she stepped outside, never to be seen again, leaving her keys, wallet, and cash inside of her car parked at her home. Aurora and Angelina chat with Katrina Overstreet, whose sister Cieha Taylor is missing. Cieha was last seen when she dropped her boyfriend off at a friend's place on February 6th, 2020. Her car was found running near the railroad tracks that evening, with her belongings inside. Katrina has been fighting to spread the word about Cieha, and in the process she founded The Missing Struggle, an organization that offers support to the families of missing persons.

Aurora and Angelina welcome to the show Brittany Rohr, trafficking survivor and founder of Kind I Am. As a busy college student juggling two jobs, Brittany didn’t immediately identify the red flags in her new relationship. It wasn’t until her physical and mental health began to deteriorate that she sought help and realized she was being trafficked. Since escaping from her trafficker, Brittany has dedicated her life to helping others by founding Kind I Am, a movement, which aims to use acts of kindness to put a spotlight on human trafficking, mental health, and poverty.

We're back with updates on the case of Derek "Ritzy" Ritz, which we first discussed on the show in October of 2021. Ritzy is the only missing person in Stratford, Ontario, and has been missing for over six years, yet the local police department isn't giving his case any attention. But thanks to the determination of Ritzy's friends, and a private investigator from the organization 'Please Bring Me Home,' witnesses are finally beginning to come forward to confirm the rumours surrounding Ritzy's death. Ritzy deserves justice, and in order to get it, his case demands more attention from the police, and more witness testimony.
