After an eventful night’s rest among the forest a living house perch atop thrashing vines emerge from the trees. As soon as the terrifying site slumped back from which it came Moat House Gold wasted no time traveling further down the road until they were confronted by a towering wall. Moat House Gold had little time to assess their situation before a hulking warrior with a sword to match came charging in, but he was no more than an annoyance to us. He quickly fell to the ground after Stebe possessed the warrior with Tasha’s Hideous Laughter. Meanwhile Erasmus with new found power cook the warrior from within his armor with burning rays. Not to be outdone I, Edward, plied an arc of lighting to the warrior as his crackled all the way to his grave. Taking up his giant sword I lead Moat House Gold through the gates of the towering walls to the menacing villages. Walking skeleton watched us from the tree line. Horns blared as we entered the cobblestone streets of the village only to find our companion Onthar burnt at the stake. Who every has murdered my brother in arms in such a cowardly way will soon feel the wrath of The Black Lich Knight. Evil permeates the earth we stand on but it is no match for the darkness I keep within. Revenge will be mine if I must level the entire kingdom.

Throwing violent boy to the wolves did not stop them from chasing Moat House Gold. We were being tossed around inside the Vastony wagon, pots clanging above us, but neither arrow nor bolt could slow the packs advance. Among the chaos  I, Erasmus tried to hold onto my amulet of Lathander as it burned my hand until I was forced to drop the symbol for the power of the Lord of Light was too much for me to embrace. When the amulet rolled out into the oncoming threat the wage was overturned along with my faith. When we awoke from the crash I again felt alone but then during my watch the priest of Lathander who gifted me his holy symbol in Greenist appeared to return the amulet. As quickly has he had arrived he retreated back into the forest. I again summoned Lathander’s divine power and as painful as it was to hold his light in my hand I would not let go a second time. When I opened my hand there the symbol of Lathander was seared onto my palm. With my faith returned I am prepared to take on any foe including the strange domicile thrashing outside the wagon.

I have known Eldath’s love since I was an orphaned child, and her guidance has brought peace to my tortured soul but now she has left me in my darkest hour because I was unable to follow her teaching to achieve my quest to embetter the world. I have always felt an outcast in my faith to her due to my human race among an elvian religion, and as hard as I tried to be apart of the church I was still sent away. Now a new god has presented himself to me. Lathander please shine you light upon me, and channel your power through me so I can bring goodness to this world by subduing evil by force if needed. I do not know how I will take to violence and I fear I will become as flippant with life as Edward. He seemed as if at ease while fighting off a pack of wolves with fire and steel. Stebe had to practically drag Edward away from the encounter. We escaped the snarling beast but for only a brief moment before bringing their wrath upon an innocent troop of Vistany. Edward was right when he said “we have jumped out of the pan and into the fire,” and who would know better then him. As wolves take chace of Moat House Gold in a rickety wagon along with violin boys corpse I am ready to finally stand as brothers in arms against the Tiamat cult and whatever evil lies beyond.

As Moat House Gold escapes from Major Gaskill’s estate we leave a haunting scene behind us as a gruesome hag cackles while high above the manor airships descend from a fog bank illuminated in the flames of an inferno fueled by ancient manuscripts set a blaze by my hand, the Burnt Lich Knight. Stebe may have all of Fearun believe that misfortune follows us wherever we go but the truth is destruction is our calling card. While we ransacked Rococo’s museum for ill gotten treasure the unsuspecting guest cowered in the amphitheater below soothed only by Gaskill’s lies. The evil forces hidden inside Rococo have corrupted Erasmus into taking part in our looting, but I can be corrupted no further for I have seen far worse than Father Bentham spewing spiders from his gut. I was reborn from flames stronger and now so will Moat House Gold and the people of Nashkel. As glowing eyes peer from the dark impeding our escape from Rococo I can feel Moat House Gold’s unseen enemies’ glare turn towards us as well and I for one welcome it.

I have performed on all manor of stages in my long and lustrous career but never have I found myself in such a hastil venue as Rococo. Standing on the precipice of a balcony orating to the masked mob I am in my true element yet I cannot help but feel uneasy as the connection between Ghastkill and the Tiamot cult becomes evident shown by the manor’s menagerie of dragon paraphernalia. I can tell the extravagance of Rococo has even corrupted the austere nature of Erasmus as he stands behind me clothed in his whimsical costume. I wonder what Rococo will lead him to do next and where is Edwards? Has Rococo washed away his brooding demeanor as he finds himself lost among the waves of party goers or does he remain stained by sorrow. Whatever Rococo has in store for us I am ready to leap in head first.

Can one be truly trapped in paradise? I once believe this to be a foolish thought propagated by melancholy souls, until I was confronted by a bloody corpse within the walls of Mayor Ghastkill’s estate and with Edward galavanting around the halls of the manor I was without protection making this event that much more frightening but if that was not strange enough a halfling maid bursted into our apartment handing a ring to Erasmus. She told us to tell no one of her actions just before Ghastkill and his guards entered the room to inform us that the dead man was an actor who closely resembled Edward. Luckily I was able to keep one of the guards by my side for protection and though Erasmus and I were too shaken to bathe we managed to find great delight in assembling our costumes for the masquerade that we shall attend after our tour of the manor. Edward is missing all the fun Ghastkill’s estate has to offer but a hardened warrior such as Edward would never participate in such a silly soiree. I myself intend to indulge in all the delights this paradise provides even if it kills me.

Eldath’s light has once again brought Moat House Gold to the darkness, and Mayor Ghastkill’s estate is truly a shining example of hedonism, but all is not as it seems. Edward has return from a secret meeting with a new face and name, declaring himself as Leandon Hazelwood in some esoteric posturing to the mayor while Stebe keeps his personal tragedy in the distant past. Do I travel with these two tattered souls in hopes of saving them from themselves or because like them I have my own difficult past.

The opulence of Ghastkill’s estate is only hiding this infamous subterranean amphitheatre and through Moat House Gold has sworn to never return underground Mayor Ghastkill has forced our hands by locking us in his gilded cage. I can feel Eldath’s light dimming as I stand on the precipice of descending into the earth once again but when I return I may find the light of Lathander shining down upon me because I shall not became a canary in a coalmine but the savior of The Theatre of The Nine Hells! Tattered those our three souls maybe still they fight for what is right.

After Moat House Gold’s first hot Nashkel night they recovered the next day among the many diverse items and people of the renowned marketplace. They were unimpressed until they happened upon a group of ornately clad Elvian merchants. As Eramus and Edward conversed in Elven they soon found out that both groups were headed to Mayor Ghastkill’s estate. As the Naskel soldiers waited to escort the large party to the fortified manor they began asking questions about a young boys corpse found just outside of town. Only Stebe’s silver tongue saved the party from retribution for Edward’s rash action in the mystic fog. Moat House Gold is uneasy as they travel to the mayor’s estate and I Wulf Son of Wulf Son of the Wilderness know that their suspicion is not unfounded.

It has been a lifetime and a day since I last heard the name Leandon Hazelwood. I thought my noble past had perished in the flaming pit of zombies during the battle of Dragon Spear. Now, the world renowned Volo has found me in Amn. His loyalty to his Hazelwood patronage pressed him to summon me to the local Helm templer where both of us in disguise slipped into the woods. After revealing his true self Volo informed me of odd going ons in Waterdeep between the Hazelwoods and Catalanster family. The elders of the Hazelwood family have grown distant from their children and I must investigate the Catalanster family. I had hoped to never return to the hallowed halls of the Hazelwood manor as to spare my family the disgrace of their fallen son’s failor in battle but circumstance has forced my hand. I the Burnt Lich Knight will finally return from battle with the new banner of Moat House Gold in tow to retrieve my given name Leandon Hazelwood.

A bundle of sticks is stronger than tig alone. Now outside forces seek to separate Moat House Gold. Stebe’s new found fame from his Steamball family name has brought a mysterious woman wishing to steal him away into the foggy night. A Dire warning from a nameless Lathandard cleric urges Eramuse to escape to Baldigas immediately and a strange notes invoking the Hazelwood name beckons Edward to the nearby Helm temple in the morning. Will our adventurers be pulled apart by demons from their past or will Moat House Gold continue as the undivided mass that has brought them this far. I, Wulf keep an ever vigilant eye upon Moat House Gold and the foes that dare to tear them apart.
