Porkbelly, Chapter 1 (Malibu). The opening of a novel I finished back in 2011 entitled "Porkbelly." At it's end, this work will prove to be near-futuristic and technology driven. At it's start, it's the story of a spoiled 22-year-old woman with psychiatric problems. We open with the date July 10, in Malibu. Roman, a rising reality TV star, and Railey, his spoiled and depressed nearly ex-girlfriend, fight at an oceanside restaurant.

Virtual Reality and the Singularity, Part 2: The Singularity. The technological singularity is the subject of this show. Technology advances exponentially. Music in this episode is meant to mimic this acceleration process, aiming to increase the BPM of each song from the episode's start to its finish. Mixed in, are clips of singularity experts. This show is meant to provide groundwork for upcoming storytelling, starting next week, with "Porkbelly," a novel dealing with technology + near futurism.

Virtual Reality and the Singularity, Part 1: VR. We delve into the world of VR (today) then the singularity (tomorrow) in order to set up for some upcoming storytelling. YouTube clips, a TED talk, and poetry are used to tell the history and some science behind, then current use of, VR. Musically, this one's a bit heavier and more electronic than others.

Volterra, Part 2: An American In Italy. Storytelling with my friend Martha, with whom I studied abroad in Tuscany for a summer in college. This time it's non-linear as Martha recounts some family stories, giving us a vivid sense of "Americanness." We link the episode back to Volterra, Tuscany, Italy with a brilliant poem.
