We tackle these stereotypes and common misconceptions and provide a more transparent look into the life of a working model.  We sprinkle in our personal stories and experiences dealing with those stereotypes.  In this follow up episode, we jump right into the over sexualization of models.

We are Devon Blackerby and Nicole Nance.  We are both models in the Portland, Oregon and the west coast market.  We are using this podcast to make the modeling industry more transparent and approachable for models.  We will share stories about our experiences and advice on how to be a professional model and get hired.  Our experience combined is over 20 years experience in the modeling, fashion, and art world.   

We both come from different from different parts of the country and our experience with that fashion industry and how we got our starts are very different.  Hear our perspectives and those of other models and industry people.  We want to include as many diverse models as possible to share their experiences and the challenges they have faced and how they overcame them.
