In this episode I sit down with my new friend, Aaron Woodall. Aaron is a middling actor, “decent” comedian, and amazing dad. He has a podcast called Mormon and the Meth-Head and was named one of Conan O’Brien’s Comics to Watch at the 2018 New York Comedy Festival. More than that, he is just a good person. In this episode we talk about his creative process, story telling, the similarities between stand-up and teaching, the similarities between stand-up and extreme sports, flow state, ego, self-love, and cancel culture’s impact on stand-up comedy.
He’s got some upcoming stand-up shows he desperately wants you to come to this fall. This guy is the real deal y’all, I hope you can show up and support.
