Since the beginning of the new Millenium, superhero films have made a return. We seen successful runs for X-Men and Batman, but nothing has been greater than Disney and Marvel's Cinematic Universe. All of them have been cash cows for Disney and as we are set to jump into Phase 3 of the MCU, the franchise is met with a new villain, the DC Comic Universe and the over saturation of superheroes in media. We discuss this week if too many superhero films will ruin the Marvel franchise and the superhero genre as a whole. We also talk about the effect it will have on comic sales and merchandise.
