Irene has a career that spans over 17 years in Media, Marketing, Communications, Technology, and Development Programs that are focused on Youth and Women Empowerment.
She is the Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer of Adanian Labs – A Pan African venture studio on a mission to actuate the tech revolution in Africa by building 300 tech startups by 2025.
She is also the Founder of Twaa – A global digital platform for women to build communities, network and mentor each other.
She is the Founder of eCOBbA – An AI driven FinTech platform designed to integrate underserved financially excluded populations in Africa into the financial ecosystems through community savings and lending platforms.
She is also the Founder of The Africa Blockchain Center - A company that focuses on building blockchain capacity in Africa.
Irene, who is a mom of three, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Dar es Salaam, and an MBA in Marketing from the same institution.
