On this episode Nate and DeViney hearken back to Episode 1 (yes, ONE!) where they discussed abortion out of the starting gate. Well, as they predicted this debate hasn't gone away and has re-emerged in full force following some laws (ahem, Alabama, Ohio, no names mentioned!) that ban abortion almost entirely.

The pair disagree on abortion, but find quite a bit of middle-ground surrounding the discussion. If we disagree in this country (as we always will) is there no compromise, no reason to be had, even for something as touchy as Roe v Wade?

In the wake of domestic terrorism at our places of education Nate and DeViney decide to revisit a topic where they find some disagreement. Gun control...on this episode Nate points out the inevitability of an "equal and opposite reaction" to the 2nd amendment purists. DeViney counters the need for the government to be more afraid of the people than vice versa. They then discuss the implications of cooperation and minor reforms. Closing gun convention loopholes? Registering all private sales? What about the "mental health" aspect? Nate teases a future discussion about gun control towards the end.
