This week we pay tribute to late legend John Sattler, preview Round 4, and reflect on the best and worst club performances from round 3. Some big wins from clubs that have worked hard in the offseason and others still finding their feet with changes due to injuries, suspensions and new members. 

For round 4, following their victory over rival the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the Sydney Roosters have a BYE.  
We are calling this the Rivalry Round as there are some huge matches to look forward to including a Grand Final rematch - key players are returning to reverse the fortune for some teams, and a few suspensions with some clubs missing key players.

How great is it to have rugby league back?!?!

You might agree that Round 1 of the NRL was a thriller!
We preview Round 2 of the NRL 2023 season with Gabbi, Anthony, Emma, Lachlan and Laine peppering in some honest opinions on club and player performances from Round 1.
After their performance in Round 1, the Manly Sea Eagles have a Bye and taking a rest this round. 
All the Queensland teams won their matches and disappointed a few teams who were looking to start the competition with a big win.  
A few members of the panel made it to some of the matches – Anthony was out at Shark Park for the Cronulla v Souths game; Lachlan was at Lang Park for the Dolphins v Roosters game, and Laine went along to Leichardt Oval for the Tigers take on the Titans.

We are on the eve of Round 1 of the NRL 2023 season and Gabbi, Anthony, Emma, Lachlan and Laine are brimming with excitement to share their thoughts on the match ups ahead. 
What a lead up! Betting agencies and fantasy leagues getting a shock with some recent announcements of which players aren't suiting up this weekend. 
After 4 months of patiently waiting, we've been checking our list twice to see who has been naughty, nice and in top shape.
