  • WOMEN IN GRIDIRON SHOW- ALL BALL - RHYANNA EDBROOKE, OUTBACK DEFENSIVE LINE, THE JOURNEY

On ‘All Ball’ we focus on our special guest Rhyanna Edbrooke. Rhyanna is a D-line player from Western Australia. We look at her stellar rise in her career so far and how she has been able to train and be ready for a late call up.

She started in 2016 in the Ladies Gridiron League before transferring into full-contact gridiron.

It was a steep learning curve to learn a new game but Rhyanna quickly developed a love for the game and became the only WA player in the 2017 Outback squad, and won the MVP for Game 3. Impressive for for a rookie!

Now a veteran player in the Outback team, Rhyanna has developed her game and strength and conditioning to be ready for a late call up in the 2022 Outback squad.

Rhyanna was called up 11 days before the tournament. Preparation ended up being critical after having two seasons of match fitness and being a Strength and Conditioning coach and an Advanced Rehab Specialist allowed for frequent training opportunities.

On ‘Rapid Fire’ we discuss game day prep and the one thing that we have to have in our bag. What’s your one thing?

  • WOMEN IN LEAGUE SHOW- ROUND 1 PREVIEW, EELS & ROOSTERS, KNIGHTS & BRONCOS, PLUS KEY MATCHUPS

On this weeks episode in “the Breakdown” we feature two key games from Round 1 as the NRLW season kicks off in style.  The first match we see the Parramatta Eels take on the premiers in the Sydney Roosters. Under Dean Widders leadership, the Eels have reshaped their roster in an attempt to compete for the title. With a host of fresh faces representing the western Sydney club, can the Eels upset the current NRLW champions? While for the Roosters, despite losing a number of key players coach John Strange has been able to recruit some heavy hitters into the team with new arrivals Destiny Brill and Shaniah Power ready to lead from the front. While the rugby league celebrates the return of Sam Bremner to the NRLW, as she looks to guide the Roosters to a round 1 victory.

And in our second feature game we see the Brisbane Broncos travel to take on the Newcastle Knights. The dynastic Broncos will be reeling after a shock finals loss in the last campaign. Adding the defection of Millie Boyle and Tamika Upton to the Knights, the Broncos will be ready to put the competition back on notice. While for the Knights, the challenge will be developing combinations during the early stages of the NRLW season. With a host of new faces, can the Novocastrians find top gear in round 1 in front of their home fans?

And to round out the show on 'Rapid Fire' we each share our predictions for the Dragons and Titans game. It's a crucial match for both sides in particular the Titans, as they look to establish themselves as a genuine contender in 2022. While for the Dragons, can they go one better this year and claim their first NRLW premiership?

For the Knights it has been an historic offseason as the team prepares for their 2nd NRLW campaign. With an unprecedented amount of signings, the Knights now find themselves as an immediate contender for the title.

Caitlan takes us behind the scenes as the club aims to deliver the most dominant forward pack in the competition. From Millie Boyle, Tayla Predebon, Hannah Southwell and Caitlan herself, the Knights will back themselves against any pack in the NRLW. • THE NFL SHOW - 49ERS & CHIEFS & BEST WK1 PRESEASON ROOKIE

On this week's show in 'The Huddle' we take a look at the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

For the Chiefs it remains Super Bowl or bust - even after an eventful offseason. With T. Hill and notable defensive players gone there are some questions entering the season. There’s no reason to think the Mahomes Reid marriage is finished producing magic though. Barring a major setback the chiefs will be in the hunt for the AFC title again 🦾

The 49ers have found themselves in an interesting situation with both Garoppolo and Trey Lance still on the roster. San Fran looked to trade the vet but have been unsuccessful. Coach Shanahan still has one of the most talented and dynamic offences in the league. Defensively there’s also a lot to like about them with many predicting them having the best D 2022. It seems as though their fate rests on Trey Lance’s shoulders.

For Rapid Fire, we take a look at the most impressive rookie for preseason week 1.

    The NRL Show

    S02E055 - Out Now

This week on ‘The Breakdown’ we start by looking into the game between the Panthers and Rabbitohs. Despite the Panthers major loss to Storm last week they are only one win away from the minor premiership. They have a tough game ahead this week as the Rabbitohs are slowly making their way up into the top 4. We compare Api Koroisau and Damien Cook in our player matchup for this game.

We then look at Broncos vs Storm for our next match. This will be an epic match between two top 8 teams who have everything at stake. The last time these two teams met it was the Storm taking home the win, so the Broncos will be looking for some redemption. Payne Haas and Nelson Asofa-Solomona make up our player matchup for this game

And to round out the show in ‘Rapid Fire’, we offer our picks for the remaining games and reveal our underdog tip of the week.
