MOJO SPORTS

This week we warm up with Dan asking the panel what is their favourite NFL movie or documentary to recommend to people.

This week in "The Huddle", the Mojo team has a look at the Buffalo Bills who were 13 seconds away from an AFC Championship appearance and the Tennessee Titans who were also heartbroken when Evan McPherson kicked a 38 yard field goal to end their season.

The Buffalo Bills were very interesting in the 2021 season, with the top defence in the NFL and one of the top offences to go along with that defence, the Bills had high hopes for the playoffs but came agonisingly short when the Chiefs won their Divisional Round matchup in overtime after going the length of the field in 13 second to tie up the game in regular time before the Chiefs won in overtime. The Bills have added Von Miller to that already sensational defence to improve their pass rush and with Superstar QB Josh Allen still there, it is Superbowl or bust for the AFC Champs in 2022.

The Tennessee Titans had a similar end to the Bills in the postseason and they were one of the victims in the Bengals superbowl run. The Titans have had a drama filled offseason with the AJ Brown saga and not paying him before trading him to the Eagles. The draft for the Titans will be one to look back at as it could be a great draft with the Titans possibly drafting their franchise QB in Malik Willis in the third round but with trading away Brown on draft night and drafting his replacement instantly it may either be a great move or a horrible move for the Titans offence. The Titans have made the playoffs the past three years but will they get back there in 2022?

This week in "Rapid Fire", the team has a look at the upcoming preseason and give their predictions on who will have the best preseason and the worst preseason.

On this week episode in ‘The Huddle’ we discuss Denver Nuggets.

Nikola Jokic winning his second straight MVP award but they lost their second-best players this season because of injuries. Jamal Murray has suffered an ACL injury since early 2021 and Michael Porter Jr missed most of season as well with a back injury. Therefore, getting and staying healthy is the only priority for Denver in the upcoming season. If Murray and Porter Jr. stay on the court, the Nuggets will be able to perform better in the upcoming 2022-2023 season. What do you think of Denver for the upcoming season?

In ‘The Match’, we discuss Dream Team vs Redeem Team. The 1992 USA Men basketball team and 2008 USA Men national team called dubbed the dream team. If these two teams compete, it’s going to be a very interesting matchup. On the other hand, what do you think about Australian national team? How can Australia national team compete with these teams?

And to round out the show in ‘Rapid Fire’, we talk Derrick Rose. He started his career with the Chicago Bulls in 2008. He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2009 and became the youngest MVP winner. He led the bulls during the early 2010s, but his performance has declined since he injured his knee in the 2012 season. All previous MVPs have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, but Rose is unlikely to be inducted into the Hall of Fame due to poor performance after his injury. Whay do you think of his chances?

This week we start off with the "Warm Up" as the panel talks about their favourite NFL Mascot of the season.

This week in "The Huddle" we take a look at the Arizona Cardinals who are still trying to figure out how to create a valuable team for the season and the coming years. We also look at the Dallas Cowboys who have been quiet during this offseason.

The Arizona Cardinals and Kyler Murray agreed to an extended contract of 5 years worth 230.5 million. The Cardinals are hoping that the quarterback player keeps getting better to help the team improve its performance, but the question is; Is it a contract that is worth every penny? The Cardinals always have players that can allow the team to do well every season, but unfortunately, it does not happen. Is it because there is a bit of ego between the players?.  Let’s see how they do this season.

The Dallas Cowboys are entering the preseason very quiet. It is one of those teams that has not made any moves during the offseason. The team enters the season feeling quite confident with the team of superstars that it has. Hopefully, the Cowboys will be able to perform better than last season and reach the playoffs. Will the Cowboys be able to play in the playoffs and win at least one match? Everyone is hoping they can break “the curse” of the playoffs this season.

In "Rapid Fire" this week, we look at which players will be leading special teams in the 2022 season. Who do you think will be leading Special Teams this season?

S02E50- Out Now

This week on ‘ The Breakdown’ we start by looking at the game between the Roosters and Manly. With problems surrounding Manly, they will need to put a mighty effort in the rejuvenate Roosters side who are starting to fly high at the pointy end of the season. A unmissable game this Thursday night as both teams look to get on their front foot to make sure they make the Top 8.

Then we look at the battle of the West and Penrith take on Parramatta, last time these two teams meet the Eels won a nail biter stoping Penriths incredible run at home. With injuries hitting the Panthers this is a great opportunity for the Eels to make another push for a Top 4 spot. The questions must be asked over Parramatta, do you believe they are a premiership treat and recreate that form we saw earlier in the season. This will be a incredible game with Match ups all over the park.

And to round out the show in ‘Rapid Fire’ we offer our picks for the remaining games and reveal our underdogs tip of the week.
