Classic is the upcoming tenth studio album by American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey, marking a bold and elegant departure into country and Americana-inspired territory. Originally teased under working titles like Lasso and The Right Person Will Stay, the album has since been officially renamed Classic, a title that reflects its timeless sonic ambition.
This project continues Del Rey’s collaboration with producer Jack Antonoff, alongside Drew Erickson and Luke Laird, blending traditional country instrumentation—slide guitars, pedal steel, and warm acoustics—with her signature cinematic melancholy and poetic lyricism.
Two official singles have already set the tone:
"Henry, Come On" – a haunting ballad laced with vulnerability and romantic yearning, showcasing Del Rey’s flair for emotional storytelling.
"Bluebird" – an Americana-infused anthem with twangy guitar riffs and wistful imagery, reflecting freedom, memory, and fleeting love.
In April 2025, Lana Del Rey surprised fans with a set at the Stagecoach Festival in California, where she debuted unreleased tracks from Classic, including "Stars Fell on Alabama," "Quiet in the South," and "57.5." These songs deepened anticipation for an album that promises to reframe Lana’s signature themes—loss, nostalgia, identity—through the lens of southern landscapes and frontier romance.
While no official release date has been confirmed, Classic is expected to arrive in 2025 and further expand Del Rey’s genre-defying legacy.
Classic will be available on all major streaming platforms upon release.
