These two started trying to conceive earlier this year and as a couple who also didn't get pregnant on the first try, we chat about the joys and challenges of the process, some of Will's expectations and hopes for parenting and of course, find a way to laugh through it all. Last week Owen started preschool and last weekend we got a call from his teacher letting us know they thought it was best if we didn’t come back. Unfortunately, the co-op we had chosen to begin with operates on a smaller staff & seeing as though this was Owen’s first school experience they felt like he was too much to handle. We're back after a week break we took to attempt, you guessed it, potty training. Owen was giving all the signs that he was absolutely ready so we were pumped to move into this chapter but after five days with a naked toddler around and no progress and a whole lot of stress we decided to take a step back. We thought it would be easy peasy, but we were in fact wrong. Sharing our first attempt with you guys and hopefully providing some solidarity to parents who are / were in the same boat!

On this episode we're chatting all about childhood development and how every kid is different! Owen crawled, walked, talked and ate in his own way and time and in this conversation we hope to provide a little solidarity if you're approaching or in the midst of any of these particular milestones with your little ones.
