Chelsey Dotson is a wife, mother of 3, gardener, hairdresser, and time manager extraordinaire. Learn her tricks to managing a household while working 80 hours a week - and how she manages to stay sane through it all.
Hi mamas!
This week caught up to me. With schedules running rampant, it's hard to know where to even start when it comes to cooking for your family. In this episode, I offer some recipes of my own, as well as tips and tricks I use to stay sane while working 70+ hours per week and still maintain a healthy eating lifestyle.
I recorded this live.. in my car.. because I want to bring you some of the realness that comes with being an Army mom, launching a business, raising a toddler, being a spouse, and self-improvement all at the same time. It's intense! And I want to thank you for tuning in and for your continued support!
Recipes will be uploaded this week, and in the meantime, you can find other recipes as well as full-on meal plans at The Balance Lab Experiment
Stay balanced, mamas!
xoxo,
Kayla

The K's explore their journeys in baby-led weaning, and how we feed our toddlers today. Or try to at least. (Ellie isn't a fan...somebody help!)
In this episode, I want to share with you some of the lessons I’ve learned in the past few years about managing boundaries around goal setting. You CAN achieve everything you set your mind to, but are some of those goals stopping you from finding happiness in the only moment that matters, the now?
xx- Kayla
Lulu Loyola (@ssg_loyola) was raised as a Catholic in her Mexican family home. After returning from deployments, she wanted more answers when it came to faith. As a mom of 2 in the Active Army Reserves, she wanted her kids to grow up with a strong religious foundation. Hear her story from arriving home from deployment to a baby who didn't know her, and her journey through finding Islam and creating a company dedicated to open communication between Muslims, the Army, and anyone else who is curious about her faith and lifestyle - all while mothering her two sweet boys.
Join Kayla and Lulu, two moms with vastly different spiritual beliefs, as they explore the benefits of encouraging conversation and building bridges between ourselves in order to create a better human experience.
