Today Orly and Brandi share the details of their VERY different birth-stories; Milly + Sonny / Conor + Blake
The details of these stories vary from magical and exciting, to difficult and disappointing but they are each beautiful in their own way.
We hope that by sharing our birth-stories you will be reminded that there is NO right way.
There will be some tears (both happy and sad) because there's something cathartic about sharing the moment you became a mom!
Reliving it can be such an empowering excersize...and if it didn't go as you hoped? you might need to mourn that loss.
Voice your disappointment in the experience you wanted, but DID NOT have... and then celebrate the one you did!
Because it brought you here.
We hope this episode will encourage all of you to share your birth story.
We created MOMHOOD partly because of the no-judgement community we wanted to provide and also for the relationships we hope to nurture among our “hood”. You’re invited to join our community in our secret MOMHOOD Facebook group.

Today's interview is beyond captivating!!
We interview Ali Fedotowsky Manno, who you may know from her time as The Bachelorette, or as an E! News host, or the popular Ali Luvs blog, or even her Instagram...
But there is SO much you don't know about how Ali became Ali.
Her story from 0-20 years is beyond fascinating and will inspire you that your childhood does not have to determine your adulthood.
She is beautifully honest, and we all shed some major tears in this one.
If this interview inspires you, please share it with a friend who might be in need of some good inspo!
A 5 Star rating and a review will also help this podcast get to more people, so we would really appreciate that.

Today we have on Eve Rodsky, the NY Times Best Selling Author of Fair Play, a book changing lives one task at a time!
The three of us sat on the floor in Eve's house, and had an incredible and honest discussion about the "Invisible Work" that women do in the home.
The idea that men's time is FINITE and women's is INFINITE has lead to an imbalance at home which can erode a marriage from the inside out.
Eve's book is a practical system... well really it's a game! A card game that you play with your partner to restructure how you BOTH think about the home and you responsibility in it.
ENJOY!!

Today we talk about our differences...The thousands of ways that we're different from eachother.
But the one thing that unites us is momhood. Our desire to raise good kids. Our desire to NOT lose ourselves in the process.
To stay connected to our husbands, our friends, OUR former SELVES.
This is episode 2 and it's only the beginning. We have amazing guests and experts coming on but it felt fitting to have today... just be us.
Hope you enjoy.
If you do, please give the pod a 5 star review to help us track so other moms can find us :)
