About Katie: I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2004 with a degree in honor's political science. After graduation, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer. In May 2007, after 3 years at the University of Tulsa College of Law, I achieved that dream. I worked full time as a lawyer until the birth of our first child in 2015. After that, I was fortunate to find a law firm that allowed me to have an extremely flexible schedule. In my spare time, I volunteer at our church and my children's school. I am the current president of our home and school association. I also volunteer in our community through various nonprofit organizations. My husband and I have two boys - ages 7 and 9.
