This week I sit down with Papi himself, the hilarious Marito Lopez. Marito is one of my favourite comedians to watch because his high energy onstage is something I aspire to. He talks to me about sobriety, stand up comedy and personal growth. I learn a lot about Marito in this episode and no wonder, he does not hold back.
Enjoy this weeks episode!
This week I sit and chat with my hero, Zabrina Douglas! Zabrina began doing stand up comedy when her kids were little to help get over stage fright. Fast forward 15 years to today, her loud, energetic stage presence brings laughter to every show she's on. Her stories about nursing, motherhood and growing up with Jamaican parents leaves audiences with an inside look into a pretty incredible and hilarious life. Catch her comedy show "Things Black Girls Say" at Comedy Bar in Toronto on August 22, 2021.
Enjoy!
This week I talk to my very good friend and comedy collegue, Sashka DC! Sashka is a toronto based stand up comedian with a new podcast called "Anxiety Noir". She is also the cohost of Sunday Best Comedy with Tamara Shevon where they take a scenario and ask "What would Kanye do?"
We talk about breakups, getting our asses in shape and how stand-up comedy is kinda like highschool (she is in grade 10 and I am graduating middle school). We try out a bunch of new sponsors throughout the show and I promise Sashka I will let her help me with any future dating decisions because I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Kali Williams is a stand up comedian, film maker and the president of Scavenger Films, the only film festival/production house in Toronto featuring no-budget films. We talk about how we met, his current relationship status and his current obsession with Muppets! Mostly we just act silly and dumb, but we had fun doing it.
This week I sit down with my good friend C E Hoffman, author of the debut novel "Sluts and Whores". We cover A LOT in this episode from how this book came into existance to their personal experience in and around the world of sex work and so much more. I could have spoken to C all afternoon and I feel so honoured that they let me (and you!) into their head and into their heart. I hope you enjoy the conversation we had. Now go buy their book!!

This week I talk to stand up comedian Kyle Lucey of Renegade Comedy. Kyle went through pretty shit time as a kid but he lets us in on how his early life, though painful, gave him the fuel to become the comedian he is today. He also shares a bunch of insights that might change how you think about reaching your goals.
We also talk about an amazing piece of art he has on his wall by Montina Guiry IG: @montinaart, so check her out! She is an artist navigating motherhood and she is crazy talented.
After a few months away, I am back with a brand new episode with my good friend Veronica Antipolo. Veronica is the Co-Founder and Producer of Mosaic Untold Lives - secrets and stories of Women of Colour. Veronica performs storytelling, stand-up, and was recently published in Stories We Don’t Tell. We talk about opportunities that opened up for her during the pandemic, how having other moms in her life has helped her manage her mental health, and so much more!
This week I talk to my good pal Kevin Shawanda who is a stand up comedian based out of Sudbury, Ontario. Kevin grew up on a reservation near Manitoulin Island and was adopted by his aunt at an early age. We talk about how his family supported each other, the tight knit community he grew up in and the women who made him who he is today. We also meet his new puppies and talk about what it's like doing comedy in a small town.
Check it out, k?
This week I sit down with local Toronto teenager and aspiring comedian Rose Kain! We talk about her relationship with her mom, how she got into stand up at such a young age and the challenge of being at an age where society want you to grow up but still treats you like a kid.
