When Jamie Raskin hinted that the January 6 hearings would “blow the roof off the House,” the conventional wisdom was that he was exaggerating. After all, how much more was there to learn about the violent insurrection that blemished our long history of peaceful transfers of power?

But it turns out that - as usual - Rep. Raskin was right. And the two televised hearings the Select Committee held this week were so explosive that even folks who have been following the news carefully - like MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills - were shocked and surprised. The Committee is proving that what happened on January 6 was NOT a riot, but a planned operation to overthrow the government of the United States. And planning went all the way to the Oval Office.
