Happy Thanksgiving!  Mom's Minute Special Thanksgiving Day Fleur de Mai Video Game  Show starts with the iconic song Peoples Loving People to set the stage for the spirit of the 129th episode of the show. Fluer de Mai or the Mayflower which is the ship that brought the Pilgrims or Puritans to America in 1621 is the central topic of the show as well as the featured vessel during the show.  A spirited and lively discussion followed on exactly who were the Pilgrims with Ms. H saying to look on the positive side in that the colonists did land on what is now Cape Cod, Massachusetts from what was a very treacherous voyage.  Regarding the ship itself, Ms. H explained that shortly after the famous 1621 voyage, it was taken out of commission, never to sail again.  However,  there is a replica of the Mayflower called the Mayflower II, built in the 1950's based on the same specifications as the original and actually still sails.  Ms. H discusses the two video games she played, Sunset Overdrive on her Xbox One and the Steam game, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare that she played on her Alienware gaming laptop.  The discussion moved to types of delicacies including meats that are edible as well as the status of Pluto on being categorized as a planet.  Ms. H talked about her video game field trip to Trilogy Comics and lists the new video game releases which are plentiful due to the upcoming holidays. She reminds everyone about her advice on having a successful and safe Black Friday  shopping experience and to check out her secrets that are  published at http://www.allgames.com/data-blog/item/10171-how-you-can-be-successful-at-black-friday-shopping-secrets-revealed  Along these same lines, Ms. H will grade the Black Friday sales relative to video games which will be published at http://www.allgames.com . A change in prices for video game rentals from Redbox tops the news.  Ms. H rounds out the show with her special original saying that when you give of yourself to help others along with having a positive attitdue, there are few other greater rewards.

On this 128th episode, Mom's Minute Marvel Universe Live Thor vs. Thor Video Game Show starts with Ms. H sharing a previously recorded interview she had with Gilyon Brace-Wessel, an actor from the traveling Marvel Universe Live Show.  During the question and answer Marvel Universe Live interview, Gilyon Brace-Wessel, who plays Aldrich Killian in the show --  not only responded to questions, but also provided advice on how anyone who is interested in being part of the show could go about doing so. After the interview, Mom's Minute Marvel Universe Live Thor vs. Thor Video Game Show resumed live with Ms. H thanking  all who helped in arranging the interview, as well as to Gilyon Brace-Wessel for theinterview.  The show moves on to the video game character of the week, the female Thor, whose Issue Number 1 comic book debuted on October 1, 2014.  Ms. H shared her opinion on why Thor wore a mask as well as how long Thor would remain a female.  She explained that when this news initially surfaced about Thor being a female, there may have been misconceptions the original Thor would change to a female. She further explained that was not the case, since the original Thor is still around; however, he is no longer worthy of wielding Mjolnir, his magical, powerful hammer. Ms. H said that it is very likely this change will not be permanent. Interesting discussion followed on other females who were the owners of Mjolnir.  During Ms. H's video game that she played discussion, lively debate followed about the merits of the Kim Kardashian Hollywood video game which led to more discussion of Kim Kardashian being a famous celebrity.  Donald Trump was also included in this discussion.  Ms. H  told everyone she enjoyed playing the Kim Kardashion Hollywood video game as well as the Marvel Puzzle Quest video game -- both which she played on her iPhone.  These games were free to play. She went on to explain that even though the Marvel Puzzle Quest video game reminded her of another video game -- Bejeweled, there were also parts where you could choose Marvel characters to appear in the video game. Ms. H informed everyone that if the Marvel Puzzle Quest game is played long enough, the new female Thor will appear as a character selection.  Ms. H rounds out the show with her special original saying that when you exhibit a positive persona, regardless of the circumstances, be sure to enjoy the many opportunities that are sure to come your way.

Happy Veterans Day!  On Mom's Minute Company of Heroes vs. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Veterans Day Video Game 127th Show, Ms. H, the host,  welcomes everyone.  The breaking news she shares at the beginning of the show is there will be a special interview with the developer of the video game, In Space We Brawl that was recorded earlier for the show.  Without further ado, the interview started with Alessandro Mazzega from Forge Reply in Italy discussing the video game -- In Space We Brawl.   He talked about the origin of In Space We Brawl, the inspiration for the game as well as Italy's place in the world of video games.   He shared some of the glitches behind In Space We Brawl that were corrected after launch and revealed the company is working on even bigger games.  The show continued after the interview with Ms. H discussing two video games she played --  Insecticide from Steam on her Alienware gaming laptop and SteamWorld Dig that she played on her PlayStation 4. It was explained that Ms. H's  video on the unboxing of the brand new Alienware 17 gaming laptop has been posted on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLMb_XQUt6I and will be posted on http://www.allgames.com as well as other sites.  This topic led to a lively discussion of other video game related online companies and how they fare relative to financials, viewership and other criteria, with Ms. H stating that http://www.allgames.com always come out on top.  Discussion continued on the comparison of the video game Company of Heroes and  Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with Ms. H acknowledging these two video games are of different genres, one being a real-time strategy game and the other being a first person shooter.  Ms. H informed everyone she played Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and was impressed by the graphics and the gameplay in the single player mode.   There were problems with the multiplayer mode -- which she covered in the video game news segment of the show.  The video game character of the week discussed was Lieutenant Joe Conti from the video game Company of Heroes. Ms. H let everyone know there is a 2013 movie by the same name that is not based on the video game itself.  Ms. H  was impressed by the increased number of new video game releases and also added that she would be covering the midnight opening of the Halo video game. Topping the news were the fixes to be made for the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare video game as well as the strategic plans being used by the new CEO of Electronics Arts  to turn the company around.  Ms. H rounds out the video game  show with her special original saying that war heroes are brave and that you are brave also when you face challenges head on and see victory in sight.

Mom's Minute special, live Call of Duty vs. Battlefield Video Game Show starts with music from the soundtrack of Battlefield Hardline.  On this 126th episode of the show, Ms. H satisified the curiosity of her listeners by revealing which video game she pre-ordered as well as why she made this choice.  She entertained questions about several video games, adding whether or not she would play these video games.  During the discussion, Ms. H shared her experiences at E3 where she saw live demonstrations of video games,  including Battlefield Hardline.  She said the drawback of the video game live demonstrations, in her opinion, were the lack of female presenters of video games at E3. This topic led to Ms. H voicing her opinions on how the industry and others can change how females are depicted in video games.  She also added that, in her opinion, one's gender has no bearings on developing interesting and exciting video games. Ms. H discussed two video games she played -- Dust: An Elysian Tail that she played on her PS4 and Volgarr: The Viking that she played on her Xbox One.  Both were free for PSN plus and Gold members respectively. Ms. H welcomes a guest caller to the show where lively discussion took place on media topics that have been in the news.  Regarding the Call of Duty video game -- She announced that it seems as if things appear to be changing for the better since unlike previous versions of this video game, Call of Duty:  Advanced Warfare, for the first time will give video game players  a choice in the multiplayer mode to play as a male or a female. Following a music introduction soundtrack from Call of Duty:  Advanced Warfare, Ms. H discussed the video game character of the week, Jack Mitchell who is the main protagonist of Call of Duty:  Advanced Warfare.  Highlighting video game news were video game sales as well as news of a documentary on the excavation of E.T. Atara video games, scheduled to air November 20, 2014 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.  Ms. H rounds out the show with her special, original saying that when you are precise about your positive goals and know exactly what you want to achieve, your success will come to you a thousand fold.

Happy Halloween!  On this 125th episode of Mom's Minute Video Game Show -- the special Halloween edition -- Ms. H asks if everyone is  ready to be scared.  She makes the point that scariness is subjective, and requests listeners share what they considered scary -- whether it's sudden, eerie noises,  strange creatures or other scary experiences.  Ms. H reminds everyone in the U.S. to remember to set clocks back, or notice when the time change is done automatically by electronic devices on November 2, 2014 for daylight saving's time.  She prefaces her show with her thoughts on her opinions on Halloween, stating that again,  in her opinion, it is a fun holiday.  She gets right into the video game show with scary soundtracks along with songs and noises that are sure to send shivers down her listeners' spines.  Ms. H discusses ways to be safe as well as how to  trick or treat safely on  Halloween.  When the topic of a news-topping virus surfaces, Ms. H gives her opinions on it and stated for everyone to stay on topic with the scary Halloween theme.  She thanks everyone for joining her as she played Assassin's Creed Black Flag and Tomb Raider on her PlayStation 4 this past weekend, Saturday and Sunday respectively at http://www.twitch.tv/allgamesnetworkvideo .  Ms. H shares her video game experiences playing Pix the Cat on her PlayStation 4 and Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara on her PlayStation 3, preceded by scary Halloween soundtracks.  Ms. H talked obout her video game field trip to an outdoor park Halloween Bootacular event with the highlight being her visit to the Mad Scientist tent where a mannequin of Frankenstein was displayed along with other Halloween items.  Ms. H discussed the video game character of the week, Laura from the game Silent Hill which included a lively discussion on characters sometmes used in video games, as well as movies to evoke fright in audiences.  Next, new video games released are discussed with Ms. H's observing that there were quite a number of video games being released on October 28, 2014, which included discussion of if this increase in new releases was due to the upcoming holidays.  On this special Halloween video game show, Ms. H listed ten video games her listeners may want to play around Halloween.  She rounds out the show with her special, original saying to keep your eyes on your positive goals, front and center and enjoy the rewards to follow when you stay the course.  Ms. H thanks everyone for listening along with her wish for all to have a safe and happy Halloween.

Ms. H, the host of Mom's Minute, invites listeners to return Monday, October 27, 2014  for what will be one of the scariest Halloween Shows ever.  She  thanks everyone for joining her as she played Assassin's Creed Black Flag and DC Universe Online  on Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time and 4:00 p.m  Eastern Standard Time, 1:00 p.m Pacific Standard Time respectively at http://www.twitch.tv/allgamesnetworkvideo .   Ms. H discusses two video games she played -- the video game Spelunky that she played on her PlayStation 4 and Zombies Monsters and Robots --  a Steam video game that she played on her Alienware gaming laptop.  She gave Zombies Monsters and Robots video game a higher rating, based in part on the graphics, game and team play of the game.  The video game character talked about during the show was the creature from Silent Hill, Pyramid Head.  She explained the origin of Pyramid Head, including its name -- as well as why even though this creature may not be the most unsightly video game creature, it was formidable due to its sometimes perceived alternate role to serve as the conscience of the main protagonist, James Sunderland.  Ms. H discussed this creature's role in the movies versus the video game.  The movie shows a less menacing personna of the creature, putting it in the position of being a protector and  warrior -- than a hideousmonster as played in the video game.  Ms. H recounted her experience playing the Silent Hill video game and shared with the listeners how well crafted the video game was in providing quite a frightful experience for her.  In celebration of Halloween Eve, the video game field trip was to the Halloween Superstore.  Ms. H compares a previous Halloween Superstore she visited with this one -- stating that it was larger and appeared to be more expensive.  She described some of the scary creatures exhibited at the Halloween Superstore and let everyone know that there were all types of costumes and Halloween perepheral items there, in addiiton to scary creatures.  New video game releases are discussed, including new releases from Steam.  The news of the most suffering video game characters tops the news, with Silent Hill's character James Sunderland, along with his antagonist Pyramid Head included in the list.  Ms. H gives her opinion on the article of if horror video games are better than horror movies and keeps everyone in the know by discussing the latest tech news including an upcoming cinematic reality type project in the works by Magic Leap.  Ms. H rounds out the show with her special original saying that when you have dignity and respect for yourself and others, you will always come out ahead.

Ms. H from Mom's Minute Video Game live 123rd show  wishes everyone a Happy Columbus Day and welcomes all to the special Pocahontas Edition episode.    She thanked everyone who joined her the past weekend at http://www.twitch.tv/allgamesnetworkvideo as she played Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag and Tomb Raider using her PlayStation 4 on Saturday and Sunday respectively at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time  and 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and 1:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. The Columbus Day celebration leads into a lively debate about the idea of the holiday itself, which also led to discussing the Apple vs Microsoft debate.  Time was spent on the administrative subject of ops and updating topics on the show, before discussion returned back to Pocahontas as the video game topic.  Ms. H discusses the first PC video game, Pocahontas Indian Princess that she played on her Alienware Gaming laptop computer -- which she will be showing as an unboxing video shortly.  She cautions everyone about downloading video games from websites due to the possibiliy of security and other type problems that may be experienced.  The other video game she reviewed was NHL 15, which she enjoyed playing overall.  During this discussion, Ms. H welcomes a live listener on the show and urges others to call in to her show on Skype under Mom's Minute as well. Mom's Minute Video Show Skype's guest added to the topic on NHL 15 including why he will not be purchasing the latest version because it appears that no major changes were made.   When asked why hockey is more popular in  Canada, than the U.s.,  He provided a comparison of Canada and the U.S. relative to ice hockey  -- indicating the weather of Canada was  more conducive  to ice skaing instead of the U.S. Ms. H also wishes Canadians a Happy Thanksgiving Day which falls on October 13 -- the same date as Columbus Day. Ms. H discusses her video game field trip to Sports Authority and ranks it not as expansive and full of merchandise as Dick's Sporting Goods that she visited previously. Ms. H discusses new video game releases which was intercepted by discussion of the news of the day of threats against female video developers and gamers.  Other news involved the controversy of the actress Katey Cuoco dressing up as Pocahontas during a charity event. Ms. H rounds out the Mom's Minute Video Game Show with her special, original saying to help yourself and others by sharing your talents which will make the world a more brighter place. o

On this 121st episode of Mom's Minute Video Game Show, the stand-alone downloadable video game InFamous First Light is the theme of the show.  Ms. H thanks everyone who joined her as she played D.C. Universe Online at  4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday respectively on http://www.twitch.tv/allgamesnetworkvideo .  She discusses the two video games she played -- Resident Evil: Code Veronica X on her PS4 via PS3 Now and Chariot on her Xbox One.  She lets everyone know that even though she enjoyed playing Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, the game would have been even more enjoyable if the connectivity messages and shutdown of the game did not occur using the PS Now option.  Ms. H discusses the video game character of the week, Abigail Walker also known as Fetch from InFamous First Light.  She provides background information on the character's plight as to why the main protagonist may have the reputation that she does -- which translated to an engrossing story for the video game, InFamous First Light.  Ms. H announced that Fetch is the first female protagonist in the InFamous video game series. She adds that Fetch is sort of a superhero due to her neon powers.  Ms. H discusses her video game field trip that ties to the video game character due to the neon items located in the establishment -- Spencers Gifts.  Ms. H talks about the new video game releases, and included other new releases Super Smash Brothers as well as others.  She expressed that she was glad to see quite a few new video games released for the PlayStation 4 as well as the Xbox One.  The video game news included an excellent explanation of who is composed of the critics that set the ratings on Metacritic.  She compares InFamous Second Son to InFamous First Light with the latter appearing to engage video game players moreso than the former -- mainly due to the background of Fetch -- the main protagonist.  Lively discussion followed on the rating of The Last of Us-Remastered which had the highest rating on Metacritic.  Ms. H rounds out Mom's Minute Video Game Show with her special original saying to perform positive actions with purpose to garner your desired and lasting results.

The Last of Us - Remastered video game takes center stage on Mom's Minute Video Game Show's 120th episode.  Ms. H welcomes everyone to the show and thanks those who joined her gameplay of Black Light Retribution and Tomb Raider at http://www.twitch.tv/allgamesnetworkvideo on Saturday  and Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time  and 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 1:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time respectively.  Ms. H discusses two video games she played, FIFA 15 demo  on her PlayStation 4 and Infamous 2 on her PlayStation 3.  Even though she used the fight stick controller while playing Infamous 2 -- she preferred this game over FIFA 15 and rated it higher.  She discusses the video game character of the week, Joel from The Last of Us.  Ms. H had previously featured Ellie as the video game character of the week during her July 8, 2013 episode and invites listeners to check out this Mom's Minute Video game podcast at http://www.allgames.com , http://www.moms-minute.com, http://www.stitcher.com or itunes. Ms. H relates her video game field trip to  the Camera Shop to the new photo op feature available on The Last of Us - Remastered.  She explains that this feature which enables video game players to select scenes in the video game and customize it to their liking or preference. Discussion followed on other games that also have the photo feature which includes Fortza and Infamous Second Son.  Ms. H fills everyone in on the new video games released noting there appears to be a lack of new video games for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One which will hopefully change soon.  Video game news followed with more information on the photo op feature in The Last of Us - Remastered and the movie that will be in the works based on the video game.  Ms. H informs everyone of the rumored choices of actresses and actors who may play the lead characters of Ellie and Joel.  The actress choices include Maisie Williams of the Game of Thrones as Ellie and Gerard Butler as the rumored choice to play Joel.  Of course, it is early in the planning stage for the movie, so these names are not in stone, and could change.  Ms. H rounds out the show with her special original saying to not give up when faced with challenges because enlightenment is just around the corner. As the sayings goes, "Quitters never  win and Winners never quit."

Pinball Wizard by Elton John musically kicks out this special 119th edition of Mom's Minute Video Game Show which has a pinball theme.  Ms. H of Mom's Minute welcomes everyone and was excited to hear from  listeners who had plenty of excellent questions lined up for the special guest, Bobby King, developer and vice-president of FarSight Studios. The video game featured was Pinball Arcade which garned lots of inquires from the listeners. Discussion followed on  Ms. H first pinball game played as well as if Ms. H had a favorite table on Pinball Arcade video game.  Ms. H revealed she enjoyed playing the Twilight Zone table as well as the other ones available as table selections on the video game.   Ms. H reviews two video games she played on her PS4 and Xbox One -- Velocity and Forza Motorsport 5, respectively. Following the theme music of the Addams Family, Ms. H discusses the video game character of the week, Morticia Addams. She discussed background information on the Addams Family including how the Morticia Addams character was created.  The Mom's Minute Video Game Show continues with the introduction of Bobby King, who talked about his experiences in the video game industry, culminating with the video game Pinball Arcade and others.  He also talked about the FarSight Pinball Arcade kickstarter that is currently underway.  He responded to a variety of questions including what is done with the money that is raised beyond the goal amount, as well as what the company is planning in the future regarding pinball and other types video games.  He stated that even though the company is branching out from pinball games, it will continue to bring to the video game players pinball machines with the authentic video game tables the company is known for.  When asked which table on the Pinball Arcade was his favorite, his reply was his favorite was whatever game he is working on at the time.  He also shared that one of his favorite pinball machine is The Creature of the Black Lagoon.  He talked about the status of bringing Pinball Arcade to the Xbox 360 as well as what is happening with other pinball video games that are in the works by FarSight Studios.  Ms. H's interview with Bobby King continues with him providing more details about the Addams Family Pinball Arcade Kickstarter including what contributors will receive as  a result of helping the kickstarter to reach the goal amount.  The kickstarter is for the licensing required for the use of the Addams Family in Pinball Arcade.  Ms. H rounds out the video game Mom's Minute Show with her special saying that when you have done your very best, there is always room to improve.
