Your kids are fighting again. Do you step in? Make them work it out? Create an elaborate spreadsheet determining who gets the TV remote on Tuesdays?
Amanda Marks and Alison Lebovitz have been sisters their whole lives and podcast co-hosts for nine years, so they know a little something about sibling dynamics. The sisters behind Sis & Tell join Andrea to talk about the roles we fall into as siblings—and how those roles follow us into parenting.
They get into birth order, competing for Mom’s attention, raising kids with wildly different personalities, and the impossible question of when to intervene in a sibling fight and when to let them figure it out themselves.
Plus, Amanda shares the surprisingly effective system she created to stop her twins from arguing over the remote—a spreadsheet that somehow ended up governing everything from who got shotgun to who got the car.
Because maybe the goal isn’t raising kids who never fight. Maybe it’s raising siblings who still choose each other when they’re grown.

Kari Stern thought baby number three might finally give her the smooth birth experience she’d been waiting for.
Instead, she gave birth in the front seat of her brand-new car, in the parking lot of the coroner’s office, with her two older kids in the backseat.
Seven years after her second child, Kari was coming back to the baby stage as an older, more experienced mom. She and her husband had changed as parents, her older kids were more independent, and surely this time around they knew what they were doing.
Motherhood had other plans.
Kari joins Andrea to talk about starting over with a baby after getting some independence back, watching her older kids become siblings again, and discovering that experience doesn't necessarily make motherhood any less unhinged.
And the car birth is only the beginning. There are fireworks, a runaway mom, an unfortunate double-stroller incident, and several moments that raise an important question: How many kids do you have to have before you actually know what you're doing?

Some phases of motherhood feel like they’ll never end. And then suddenly, you’re wondering where the time went.
Comedian Pam Moore joins Andrea to talk about raising two teenage daughters, watching her oldest head toward high school, and realizing that even the parts of motherhood that drive you crazy — like constantly driving your kids everywhere — are eventually the things you might miss.
Pam also talks about finding stand-up later in life and what it means for her daughters to watch her try something new, struggle, fail, and keep going.
She shares her experience developing Bell’s palsy just 10 days after giving birth, the years-long impact it had on her confidence and self-image, and what that difficult season taught her about self-compassion and accepting the things you can’t rush.
Plus, Pam shares an unhinged parenting moment that ends with frozen food flying across the kitchen — and her kids creating a brand-new scale for measuring just how mad Mom is.

Nobody really warns you about the weird parts of motherhood.
Not the mystery stains. Not the daycare germs. Not the moment a broken bottle washer somehow becomes the thing that pushes you over the edge.
Comedian Tara Check joins Andrea Marie to talk about life with a ten-month-old, the emotional roller coaster of postpartum, and the everyday moments that every mom recognizes but nobody seems to mention until you're living them. It's an honest, hilarious conversation about surviving the first year of motherhood with your sense of humor mostly intact.

Can you be a great mom and still want more?
Comedian Jennifer Rawlings thinks so.
While raising five kids, Jennifer built a career that took her around the world—from comedy clubs to military bases to war zones. Along the way, she learned that motherhood doesn't have to mean putting your entire identity on hold.
In this episode, Jennifer joins Andrea Marie to talk about chasing big dreams while raising a family, reinventing yourself more than once, and why waiting until you feel qualified is often the fastest way to stay stuck.
She also shares the parenting emergency that still makes her laugh: getting a frantic phone call while boarding a Black Hawk helicopter because one son had eaten all the Cheez-Its.
It's a conversation about motherhood, purpose, adventure, and the complicated reality that sometimes loving your kids deeply doesn't stop you from wanting a bigger life, too.
