In 2003, Natalie Woolsey was crowned the Festival of Lights Pageant Queen and felt inspired to give back by starting a toy drive in her community. Tragically, Natalie’s life was cut short in a car accident in 2004, just a day before pageant rehearsals. At the time of her passing, her car was filled with toys she had collected, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity. This selfless act has since inspired communities across Texas to continue organizing toy drives in her memory.
